  • Morning all

Thank you for keeping the diary nice and warm :)

Didn't get to watch country file, no tv, due wind.

Cheery departure mark two on the go already.........................hope they get on OK

We went for a very very breezy walk to the brough with them before tea - very breezy, but fun

    Today

Um, catch up on here, bank to do, correction to finalize etc......................

Ace recipe and other bit on here too :)

    £105 left in lloyd OD

£510 left in fat controller (rent due in couple day and it £542............ need to move a bit over I think!)

£1933/2100 BALANCE ON the captain, need to do a pad to both cards, but it won't be a big one.

    slowly slowly catchy monkey

Got a pile of 10p strawberries yesterday and made the start of jam, might go via co-op today and get more if there are any, but there were loads last night.

Oh, and in among all the excitement, we got two barn cats delivered on saturday - who are now in one of the barns (barn cats I'm told live in barns and are normally good ratters)

One ginger one, now named Marmalade
One black and white one cheery named Domino, which is fitting due to the colour and that movie about the lady bounty hunter/assasin

Very exciting indeed, we've been told to keep them in for a fortnight and then they'll be OK.

Thankfully the wind has abaited a fair bit and is due to die down tomorrow.

    Today
Work in office for a bit,
    Watering of tunnel
Tidy up a bit and thank chap for freecycle table
HM mac and cheese tonight or stir fry
    Lentil soup for lunch HM

Hope you all have a great day...................

Hmmm, I've had 'barn cats' before. They ended up being 'by the fire', 'sofa' or 'bed' cats though :rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you had enough rocks in your pocket for walks.

Great news on the barn cats (hmmm how long will they be in the barn I wonder. Maybe they will follow the chickens into the house :)) Love the names too.

    Safe journey to the Cheery's

  • Uni I might be interested, could you PM me some info?

Lula, Dawn and MrsM - we'll see how long they stay out there, I'm happy if they end up inside, means peedie will get fitter and hopefully more tolerant!

Almost finished everything I can at work, hoping to submit this week, changed office which is a bit odd - but OK. Home will be wierd without the cheeries, great company and we had lots of food and even made a bit of soap :) how fun that was

Went to see if they had anymore reduced strawberries, and all gone.....................oh well.

Today dd has windband after school, so looks like I'm here for a while, glad I brought soup now! I've picked my first 3 of my very own courgettes (in tunnel at work) and a pile of flowers, very cheerful.

morning all. thanks for the marmalade recipe. DH and I have been redoing our budget here for when my pay drops and we have decided that while I am off we will have more home cooked food and cut our food bill. I love my kitchen gadgets and do use them once I've got them but most of them have been sat in the cupboard for a couple of months as I have been too tired to do anything. So once I finish work (9more shifts to go - not that I'm counting or anything ;) ) they will all be dusted off and used. Must have a go at making jam and marmalade.

hope the weather isn't too bad for you Pippi
