Glad you enjoyed your horse riding. Weather is just miserable here - rain and cold.

Re the job, if you don't get full time sorted, I really do think you'd be brilliant at self-employed admin work (I know I've said it before, but I can be like a terrier sometimes, and you know what they're like ... I don't think I need a muzzle though ... um, moving swiftly on ...) - be your own boss, but still getting out to see people. I hope you get some joy with the current company, though.

I am intrigued by the buzzing noise. I'm sure there's no reasonable explanation for it and I shall spend the day thinking what ot might be so I can start some rumours. Suggestions on a postcard, please.

    Have a lovely relaxing day.

    Hi SA

Just caught up on your diary & I am so pleased to hear that you sound so positive too..well done with the horse-riding too...its great for fitness & clears the mind.

On the issue for the buzzing noise...do they have a fish tank? I had one years ago when the kids were little & it drove me insane with the dull noise from the pump.

    Have a good week Sweetie.

I wasn't planning to mention it at work at all but I was thinking that IF there are any other options offered to me, perhaps at the office nearer to home or even if they give me the boot, then I can start my sessions again and reap the benefit from a bit of thought chanelling and mind strengthening. It worked wonders before and I am sure would do so again.

Good - sounds very sensible. It's amazing how much a bit of independent support and reflection can help.

Being undermined crushes my confidence and self esteem, and Yes I am over sensitive but I need the space to be allowed to show that I CAN do something and do it well...

Makes sense to me. Some of us just aren't designed for taking orders :o

Glad you had a good time riding and am not sure I dare make guesses about your downstairs neighbours buzzing noises. Maybe they're bionic? Perhaps you could get a phone jamming device and just stop their circuits overnight? (ok back to the revision my brain is clearly not in normal gear :o)

Glad you are having good weather it is raining gallons here!

Nice though as i am resting. I spent the weekend with Steve and Andy my MSE friends and feel thoroughly spoiled but a bit tired now! Am trying to eat healthily and have found lots of frozen food in my freezer which will be a healthy meal. I haven't had time to go to the supermarket this weekend so hope i can go on Tuesday.

Keep doing positive things. I am so sorry about dratted neighbours.

    Dear Diary.....

What a performance! I give MrT a worming pill and then the heavens open and he refuses to go out of the door for a walk for the next 12 hours...... Thank heavens he was able to keep it all under control before we went out this morning. I bought him a raincoat when I first got him and he just refuses to walk with it on. So, my little fair weather dog stays indoors until it is dry and there is not a lot I can do about it.

Secretly I am pleased that at last we had heavy rain for hours which has watered the garden, my new hedge, and stopped the grass from turning any browner. We haven't had proper rain for weeks and weeks here in the North East. About time. I am so glad I didn't book my horseriding for yesterday and went on Saturday instead. Shame the tennis was postponed until today, I wont be able to watch now.
Back to work..... :( I wonder what that is going to be like. HR lady is off today but did say that she would be having a chat with my manager last Friday, gulp.... I hate the thought of the unknown... must remember that fear is 95% in our heads and 5% reality - or something like that?

Washer/dryer is humming/buzzing and reverberating downstairs and has been on since 6am. Added to the new buzzing noise that is going on in the living room and bathroom it is all happening as usual, where the Fatty family are concerned. I am going to get the recording equipment sorted and press for noise reduction measures in my flat. This can't be right, can it?

"Should have gone to Specsavers" electrician is coming to put an extra socket in the kitchen as soon as I get home from work so I am going to go and move all the stuff from that area, ready for him to make a mess.

I have decided not to meet up with my friend when she comes over for a visit later this month. It would have been nice to see her, but I just know that it will stir things up where the ex is concerned and I am getting further and further away from that and want it to stay that way. I can't be doing with Wordsmith on my case 24/7 - best to take all neccessary precautions and stay away.... ;)

Update you all later.... Wish me luck in the office, please?

I'm too late before you go, but I am thinking of you in the office today. I understand how uncomfortable you might feel first thing, but I hope it is unwarranted and that your manager can live up to her position in the company. Let's hope she surprises you and thinks things through.

I am pleased that you aren't meeting your friend. Well, no, obviously it would be nice if you were to meet her, but you are doing the right thing in not if you think it will stir up too many emotions. When you have everything under control in that respect and not having to be dealing with work worries and inconsiderate neighbours, then maybe you will be able to cope with it. It is excellent you have foreseen the possible problems and are acting accordingly - that shows your strength. Well done, you!

Good luck for today and chill out this evening.

Buzzy things eh? I have an idea what it could be but I shall keep my thoughts to myself:o

Hope your day at work wasn't overly traumatic. (You are likely to be at work now so won't see this until you get home).

Have you thought about being your own boss? I must admit that I love working for myself, I can pick and choose what I want to do and if I don't feel like doing any then I will go and do something else for a while before going back to it (this tends to work when I have writers block).

Today, I have been ringing my accoutant in a tizz about a note from the HMRC, I have made some calls, sent other emails, am part way through typing an attendee list - may leave it til later in case some other peeps book in. I need to look at the stuff I was sent and adapt it for my own purposes:rotfl: Later, I am off to see Nurse Helen - I am not looking forward to it as wound has bled again and is now stuck to the dressing:eek: - dunno why they bother with a dressing, if they leave it exposed to the air it will dry up and heal.

Didnt switch the computer on at all yesterday, nipped to supermarket for some provisions (needed milk) and then sat on the sofa watching two old westerns followed by the F1 motor racing which I eventually stopped watching at 22.20pm:eek: Still it was a bloomin' good race with me yelling at the tv and cursing too at the weather.

Tis lunchtime, think I may stop for a bit and then carry on before heading off to see Nursey.
