it's really interesting to hear different stories from people, it's like a door opening onto different lives. I love the boards for this reason.
Can't imagine meeting a pond shrimp in some squash though lol hope you said hello and returned it back to the pond lol0 -

Hi guys, was lecturing yesterday and am still knackered. Not feeling 100% either, my wrist has been playing up and been getting nasty headaches. Got some pics of the puppies earlier in the week will post them tomorrow when back on the laptop.
Work is still heavy. SS cost me 78 quid earlier in week as his car broke down, he has paid me back now tho. DIY friend not answering messages, concert we're going to is next week and she still owes me for tickets (she's seen me 3 times since I got the tickets).
Back on tomorrow, night allCC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Hope you have a restful weekend Unix and manage to recuperate. Sounds like you need a rest!
Great that SS has paid you back already...is he at last learning how to be a responsible adult?!!
Mmm, not sure how to proceed with DIY friend. Perhaps ring her one more time to check she is going, saying that someone else was looking for tickets and you need to know whether she definitely wants to go, (and get paid!) soon. Who are you off to see?
Off out for a meal tonight...DS2 is 19 today!! Watching rugby all afternoon, having made loads of soup all morning, as well as chocolate frosting for DS2's chocolate & beetroot brownie cake...scrummy!!
Enjoy your weekend xxx

Have a lovely time Keiss.
I may have to try a different tact with DIY friend, if I say someone else wants to go she'll turn it on me to say I never wanted her to go in first place. Have sent her a text whether she replies is another matter.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. We had a lovely meal, thanks Unix.
Hope you can sort things out with your friend...who are you off to see?
Have a good week xx

Morning All, off to see guns n roses tribute band. Phoned her last night, reading between the lines I think they are mega skint. She still wants to go and says she is looking forward to it. But I just hope she pays me back for her and her OH's tickets. Pay day today, so will be making payments later and updating my totals. Bought some naughty stuff over weekend (plant pots etc) and have spent £28 today on store cupboard stuff, packed lunch stuff and seeds for kitchen window ledge (salad leaves) which will hopefully mean I don't need to spend as much on veg this year. I have overdone the onions again, got 100 bulbs for £2 (smallest quantity they do).
Watched Cold feet last night, never watched it first time round and bawled my eyes out when Rachel dies. Felt a bit silly letting a tv program affect me so badly.
SS...... wait for it...... bought us a take away on saturday! Yes he's still being annoying, grumpy and insolent, oh and he still owes me for the pay per view he booked but its maybe a start.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Very quick update (as I'd intended an early night but its not happened, am feeling ver tired all the time and fell asleep when I came in), cc's paid. Cancelled Egg/BC direct debit (woohoo was that a great feeling or what), have updated my totals and have now realised since paying off Egg I have an extra £100 a month which will make things easier this month with MOT, car insurance etc but I will be snowballing it after this.
Hope everyone is well. Sorry its been such quick dash visits, missing you guys.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Well done Unix. It's amazing how much difference an extra £100 a month makes.
Hope this is a good sign with SS...is he still moving out....if so, how soon??
Been lurgy central here the past 30 hours or so, both DS2 and DH came down with a nasty vomitting bug. Luckily I haven't come down with it...yet!
Enjoy the concert, hope you get your back money for the tickets..after all, your money is tight too. Perhaps they could pay you back in two installments, rather than all at once if things are that bad for them. Make sure they pay you though!!
Hope you have a good week x
