Congratulations Willow, it can be a little gutting not getting the results you are predicted but you got a merit and that's very good. Don't be too disappointed about not getting the other one please.
Well Tuesday is Grandma day for the kids. They wanted to go to the allotment with her but she went yesterday so there wasn't anything to pick. She took them to the water park and came back with them about 6.30. DD sporting another injury might I add :(. She fell over and scraped her leg. She apparently has a nice bruise on it too. I wan't able to get a look at it because I was cooking up a storm in the kitchen and she ran in waved her leg at me and ran off again! At least it isn't bothering her too much but blimey child, try to stay in one piece at least until you reach adulthood and your not my responsibility any more .
No UU's tonight. Well, a tin of paint but that's a whole different thread :o

I was off for one day and it all happened ! Congrats Charlie, Willow, ! xoxo , you did really make me laugh :rotfl: with your latest toiletry snack, you must have been a nightmare as a small child, with EVERYTHING headed mouth-wards..:rotfl:

Rosemary, fingers crossed for DS3 again and my heart goes out to your sister. My sister has breast cancer too and I'm thankful that my niece is so wonderfully supportive even though she has so much on her own plate.
(Niece's plate: Son 10, just diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, daughter 13 mos, one more baby arriving Sept, a stressful job, 2 very lively dogs that her ex-partner gifted her and a lovely husband, but he's now serving in Afghanistan)

    Now on thread....

I have a small non bought in. My friend gave me half a tub of Coconut Body lisciouss Body Butter from Poundland as she was bored with it.

Bored? First impressions are that it's lovely - takes only slightly longer to rub in than BS and is a twelfth of the BS normal price! I rubbed some on my arm 12 hours ago and I can still smell it. About to go and use it.

Nearly forgot my UU 58 ml Intensive Conditioner that was with the Clairol Perfect 10 hair dye.
My hair being shorter, I got 8 uses out of this.:money: WIBA?
Yes, Clairol should market this separately. It's worth getting Perfect 10 as a colour to get this!

Hope the sun is shining on everyone today. Some UU's to declare:

Avon Anew Lash Transforming Serum - WIBA? - Yes already have, it comes with a mascara on the other end I dont use, but can really see the difference this has made to my lashes and eyebrows (naturally very sparse!). Higly Recommend.

Lush Satsumo Santa Bath Ballistic - WIBA? - No have gone right off Lush to be honest, apart from the soaps, cant really see the point of the products.

Mitchum Powder Fresh Roll On Deodorant - WIBA? - Yes its my HG deodorant, I find its the only one that really works on me.

Palmolive Naturals Milk & Honey Liquid Soap - WIBA? - No I hate this product, its supposed to be for dry skin which I have on my hands, and this makes it much worse!

Arm & Hammer Whitening Toothpaste - WIBA? - Yes but only from £land, begrudge paying more than £1 on toothpaste. This one is quite nice, very strong though can sting your mouth.

Afternoon - Ive litterally just got back from my interview...heck its been a long day, was out the door before 8 and the interview went on until 1!

Had a group interview bit first were we were split into small groups, 19 of us there in total and 8 of us made it through to the individual stage....They are doing another group assessment this afternoon too apparently... Im nowhere near as confident as I was before because 2 of the 8 interviewed said this was thier 3rd time in applying and one of them already works in a call centre too so gah! Anyway should hear back within 2 weeks which is going to feel like absolutely forever, suppose its just a case of applying for anything in the mean time....

Got home to find a box for me which must have come by the early morning postie so I bet OH wasn't happy :p Opened the box to find its a full size box of cereal - No idea where thats come from!

Had a boots mailing through the door today with a coupon for colgate, no good to me as I don't use it but anyway.... I also just checked my emails to say Ive won a pack of biscuits :D

Getting a bit fed up with a particular company. Ordered something on the 8th, at the time they estimated delivery the 23rd June. It was then dispatched on the 10th June and it has still not arrived. I emailed them yesterday basically asking where is it and they replied back saying allow 6-12 days for delivery from date of dispatch. Now call me stupid but 10th plus 12 days = 22nd which means its well past that date and now they are telling me they are I have to wait until the 4th July before I can make a claim....

Been really good and made a start on using some new products - lip crayon although it was a bit rubbish and I used my eye liner pencil although I think that will take a massive bit of practice as I have never used it before in my life. Pretty sure my Tresseme shampoo will be finished soon :T I hate it with a passion, the liquid is too runny and just runs out of my hands so I will be massively glad to see the back of that

  • Well done charlie and willow!

An OUT for me in Monday night's shower - James Brown London Scandalous Gorgeously Rich Moisturising Conditioner. WBA as it did make my hair feel softer and also smelt really nice, but it's nothing special and a bit pricey so probably one to pick up when it's on offer methinks.

Trudij I was wondering where you were weekend just gone believe it or not!! I figured you must be busy with Red. How is she? And also, hugs last night much appreciated, was a 'not feeling great' evening :o

Congratulations Willow :) That's great results! I remember always hating predicted grades *ughh* In my case it was always because they thought I wouldn't do so well :p (I did turn that around and do quite well thank God!!)

I was browsing the SD thread and saw Tara and Celebrate's posts. Well over to the dark side  (I'm partly there by not budging off the naughty step - can we get a coffee machine here please?)

Kaz, DD really does get it all doesn't she :( I remember as a kid I was always falling over, the number of times I hurt my knees was unbelieveable. I once fell in year 8 (2nd year) secondary school, and literally lost a huge amount of skin off my left kneecap. It's never recovered fully, and the skin there is scarred/looks weird (:p) about an inch diameter. At least it shrunk :p

Charlie don't worry or dwell on it. Hopefully you get it, but just keep applying, something will definitely turn up soon :)

Hugs to everybody, especially Rosemary and Bev, things sound pretty stressful

Mcculloch you're totally right. Some stuff I love others hate. I guess one man's junk is another one's gold :)

    UU
Cowshed Knackered Cow Body Lotion 100ml - WIBA? No!!! Like Absinthe I found the smell weird. Didn't enjoy the feeling of rubbing it in (think that's because of the smell though tbh). So glad I only bought one MC for this and have none in stash!! Onto the Boots trial one.
Pantene Repair & Protect Shampoo 500ml - WIBA? Yes, but got fed up of it towards the end (had 3 from Costco). So won't buy for a while I think. Also I didn't finish this, I found the empty bottle so somebody did the deed for me :D Onto a mini Pantene Aqua Light that's already open.
Sanctuary Toner 50ml - WIBA? Yes. I do find the using a toner beneficial as it like a secondary clean (maybe not what it's meant for :p) I find though it is to cleanser what conditioner is to shampoo for me, i.e. I've finished the cleanser/shampoo, but the toner/conditioner are still going strong, so it's used roughly 1:2. Going without for a couple of days, but onto a Clarins one I have in stash.
Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Nail Spray - WIBA? Yes. I'm not biased with fast dry sprays as long as they do the job. None in stash

BTW, just to add, the SD nourishing nail varnish remover (orange) is awesome! Just in case anybody's looking for one, I'll recommend this. I think I prefer it to the Cutex with the lilac lid

No ins outs or UU's. May UU something tonight but not sure so won't report it.
DD walked into a door this morning and cut her leg . She is now walking around with her glasses on. Hopefully if she can see, she won't damage herself so badly!
