Congratulations Carolyn, huge hugs to Little Dog.
I've often fancied buying a shalwar kameez Sawan, I think they look so comfortable and some of them are absolutely gorgeous. I would go with wearing whatever you feel comfortable with for the 'English' wedding. I think a beautiful sari would be a great idea, although there are some lovely long dresses around. In Germany all women guests at church weddings wear long skirts/dresses. (Or they did 30 years ago when I lived there and attended a wedding.)

On topic, I've UU'ed my first tub of Lacura 10% Urea Body Butter. WIBA? My daughter bought me two tubs, so I have one in the stash. It's a lovely product, takes a little bit of rubbing in, but is very moisturising and unbelievable value for money.

I'm going to switch to Shea Body Butter (the one that was free with Marie Claire) to go with my Shea Butter and Honey OS Shower Cream, then back to the new Lacura Body Wash to use with the second tub of Lacura BB. My daughter tells me these products sell very well.

Sawan 82 - Your nails look amazing, love the base colour as well as the tattoo. xx

I have another UU to declare:j

Boots Extract Brazil Nut Body Butter - WIBA? Yes I have already ordered another one from ebay at a fraction of the RRP. I love this cream, the smell is lush, and its about half the price of TBS Body Butters. Absorbs in quickly, but leaves skin really soft.

    Afternoon!

    I have another interview!!!!!!

That job at that printers I mentioned a few weeks back - they want me to come for and interview this Friday. Now if I happen to get offered both Im going to end up in a bit of a pickle haha....Actually I would take the printers job as its more 9-5 monday to friday instead of shift work....Slightly less pay and its not in the centre of Cardiff (more outskirts) but I checked and its on a bus route so its feasible to do....Also the funny thing is the printers website was done by the same company OH has an interview with next week..Might be worth a mention at the interview :D
Part of me thinks I am in good stead for that job, especially as OH is in the same kind of industry - they might think that way Im likely to be bringing them more work etc I mentioned it on my covering letter as it gave me a way of explaining how I had knowledge of print processes and requirements. Just need to OH to give me a crash course in it all now and Ill sound like I know what Im talking about :p

Annoyingly I didn't save the job advert and its been taken offline now and I can't really remember what it said...

Also one IN - tinnnnny sample from Origins

Afternoon everyone! Apologies - it's been AGES since I posted (it's been a busy couple of months!) but I have been keeping up with all your news. Big fat hugs to everyone who needs them.

I promise I've been pretty good, only replacing necessities and I have managed quite a few UUs although it will take me a while to list them. I will make the effort to do this later though as I love reading people's reviews myself - it's almost like getting a toiletry fix in itself!

I went through some of my stash in May thinking I could post items on the Facebook Swapsies however I quickly realised that a lot of things are probably only fit for the bin. I could kick myself at the amount of money I have wasted. I got rid of 8 foundations! 8!! 2 of them were unopened and were just a wee shade too dark so they were given to a friend. The rest had been opened at some point and had either changed colour or the texture had gone funny. My skin has been playing up a bit so I thought the safest thing was to get rid. I really need to do the same with the rest of my make-up but I was so despondent after the foundation debacle, I had to go and console myself with some gin.

Glad to back amongst my friends and will get back in the habit of 'fessing up regularly - it really helps to keep me on the straight and narrow!

Hope everyone is having a good day,

    xx

    aww!
    poor doggy. Hope he's OK
There's a vets on the same road as me and I can sometimes spot the dogs who are on the way there!

:rotfl: Luckily Little Dog can't see where he's going so just trots along merrily - freaks out when he gets there tho :( Big Dog has to be dragged up the steps :rotfl:

Little Dog is back and happily snoozing behind the sofa :T They had to shave a bit of his tummy but he's lost so much fur it's not really noticeable. Apparently he was very well behaved but vomited twice :(:( All the nurses there love him and make a fuss of him and think it's highly amusing that when I drop him off I leave one of my old Eeyore slippers with him :rotfl:

Now I'm thinking if a sari is ok? I'm not really into dresses (well definitely not sleeveless ones - short sleeves are ok though). Any tips would be appreciated!

    Love those nails :D

I think it would be lovely to wear a sari - especially if thats what you are comfortable in :D

Charlie - congrats on the interview :T

Willow - The FB swapsie group is a private page just for the members of this thread. If you want to join us just PM either myself or xoxo with a link to your FB profile and we will add you :D

Went into town while I waited for the vet to call me. Picked up a copy of this weeks Grazia and got the free Benefit goodies to give to DD - was soooo cute I picked up another copy and got one for me too :o

This is what you get: moisturiser, foaming cleanser and eye cream - the girl at the counter said they should last for 2 - 3 weeks if used properly.

    main_442.jpg

So I have those as IN's and I also got the origins serum sample. I also picked up a pack of LUSH Toothy Tabs to try - they're tablets of toothpaste  will let you all know what they're like .... when I work up the courage to use them :rotfl:

Boots don't love me anymore - it's official :( Nothing on the ACM today and I haven't had a mailout :( They're throwing stuff at OH though - got him some shampoo and deo both with 1/3 off coupons and I used a MOC off Dove+Men I was handed at the train station so got both for £1.50 :D

Went to book our Holiday Train Tickets today and they have gone up massively since I booked the last one's in March  Keeping fingers crossed OH's back pay comes this month or we'll be sharing the big bag of complete food with the dogs :rotfl:

Hope you are all having a good day

Right, as promised I have some UUs to report (and a few sneaky INs too). I think I've remembered most of them although it has been about 6 weeks!

    UUs

Issey Miyake Summer Edition - this was gorgeous so WBA although I see they have brought another version out this year so may be tempted with that when at duty free. I like nice light clean smelling perfumes like that for during the day.

Hotel Soaps x 3 - absolutely WNBA, this is the last of them and I am delighted to see them go. Having said that, the OH is en route back from Geneva tonight and he's probably got a couple in his bag! All very money saving but they are horrible to use!

Boots Fresh Fortune Cookie Bath Bombs - WNBA - doubt they are still available, they were years old! Didn't smell of much although they still fizzed plenty.

Sanctuary Warming Charcoal Detox Mask - WNBA as although it did the job there are others that I much prefer. I wish I could track down the Mudd Mask Exfoliating one, haven't seen that in the shops for a while so perhaps it has been discontinued.

Gillette Shaving Foam – Probably WBA as I’m not really that fussy when it comes to this. I have moved onto a Nivea one from the stash.

Olay Total Effects Radiance Cleanser – WNBA, as I had loads to get through and have thoroughly bored myself with them! I prefer a scrubbier cleanser.

Johnsons Gentle Eye Make Up Remover – This was absolutely dreadful. One of those ones that has a layer of oil that you shake up before using. The oil irritated my eyes and my mascara stayed on. Dreadful product so WNBA.

Impulse x 2 – WBA as these do the job for freshening up during the day. One was Tease and the other was Into Glamour – I prefer the latter. I can’t believe the price these are now though - £1.99 in Tesco so think I will wait until they are on a deal.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner – This was on a deal so I bought several and have used the first load up. There were pretty good although probably not worth the money if they were full price. WBA if they were on offer.

Pantene Clarifying Shampoo – As I have said before this is a HG product for me so WBA. I use it once a week when I am having a good old pamper and it removes any product build up in your hair leaving it squeaky clean for the hair mask.

No 7 Eyeshadow Innocence – I use a pale ivory colour as a base on my eyes most days but even still I’m very impressed I have a UU in the make up department! Not particularly brand loyal with eyeshadows – WBA especially if I had a voucher but I have replaced it with a cheapy No 17 one.

Elnette Hairspray – WBA as this is my HG. Brushes out easily and doesn’t leave my hair all sticky and horrible.

Charles Worthington Intensive Hair Mask – WNBA as this really wasn’t worth the money. My hair felt marginally softer but not enough to make me rush out and buy it again.

    INs

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner x 2 – these were on a deal!

Elnette Hairspray x 2 – these were on a deal!

No 17 Eyeshadow Ivory Coast – to replace the No 7 one above.

Vo5 Treat Me Right Intensive Hair Mask – to replace the Charles Worthington Mask.

Dove Moisturising Soaps – to replace the dreaded hotel soaps!

Simple Face Wipes – to replace the awful Primark ones that are on their last legs.

Cutex Nail Varnish Remover – my Tesco one is spluttering.

Imperial Leather Softly Softly Shower Gel x 2 – on a deal and will be needed over the next week or so.

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain - I don't know who said that they didn't like this but I think it's fab! Completely unjustified purchase but I never remember to reapply lipstick and this seems to last well.

And I think I'm back up to date! Phew!

    xx

Oh that's great news rosemary. You both must be so relieved. Must have been horrible going through all that when you should have been looking forward to his graduation.
