    Hello everyone!
Hope everyone had a good Monday.

One more UU for me :j Clinique All About Eyes eye cream. WIBA? Nah, not really into eye cream, this was part of GWP set, and took me way longer than the recommended 6 months to use it up.

I have just noticed on the Grabbit board another Benefit freebie. I may be tempted, I will check it out first though.

Does anyone else remember an ad from years ago where a manicurist tells her client that her nails are soaking in Fairy Washing Up Liquid to condition them? Well, I'm tempted to try that! The nails are in good nick but coated in oily muck from my trike's chain and gears. I was having problems with the gears and the chain slipping off a cog- turned out to be a build up of muck caused I think by using pound shop bike oil instead of WD40 or similar, which is what I normally use.
I am so proud of myself for fixing the problem - it took an hour and involved can of degreasant, wire brush, a whole kitchen roll and a kettle of hot water to clean, and a can of Teflon based lubricant to re-grease. My nails are black, the nail brush isn't much good, I couldn't find Swarfega in Tesco and. as I said at the beginning, I'm tempted to soak them in Fairy ....

Evening all! Weekend away went a bit pear-shaped - we were meant to be going for 3 speedway meetings - S!!!!horpe was called off because of forecast rain before we even left on Friday - after a bit of discussion with my friends I was going with we decided to cancel that night's accommodation and head straight up to Berwick on Tweed on the Saturday morning. Got to Berwick OK and in spite of a LOT of rain they got the meeting on but Ipswich were utterly rubbish and got hammered. :o The one meeting we weren't worried about the weather for was Glasgow yesterday as it was the best forecast of the lot.....thankfully we got held up in traffic on the way across from Edinburgh as we had JUST arrived at the turnstiles when the heavens opened and it was called off. :( A LOT of miles travelled for one meeting, but it was the same for the boys as well - we were chatting with our team manager and team captain in the pits and they were just as hacked off as we were but the track was sodden so it was the right call. At the end of the day we had a good meeting, some good laughs and I got to spend a few hours in Edinburgh. Got back here after midnight last night though after spending about 17 of the previous 40 hours driving so I'm shattered now! :D

One UU and one IN to report:

UU: L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover WIBA? Regulars to the thread know the answer to this already - lovely stuff, and a fraction of the price of most, so yes! Already replaced with another from my stash.

IN: The same 14 day trial that so many other have got.

Hope those having problems with OH's are feeling better about things now - Alanis no I don't think you're over-reacting at all - his behaviour was rude and disrepectful at the least, downright cruel would perhaps be a better assessment. I would suggest it's time to decide whether you would be better off without someone who seems intent on robbing you of all self-respect?

SJP Glad to hear Immy Lou is back to her smiley self!

Apologies for not mentioning everyone I probably should have...I have read through but my brain isn't really functioning right now! :o

If you have any deep cleansing / clarifying shampoo, try that. If not, have you got a body or foot scrub?! Failing that, try adding a handful of table salt to your fairy liquid......

    Well done for fixing it!

TY for that, :o I should have remembered my body scrub - hate it on my body, but like it for doing my feet. I remember thinking it was like Swarfega. But as it was 40p in Superdrug ... :money:

2 UUs for me since I was last on...B00ts Bergamot, Basil and something body wash (I've chucked the bottle and completely forgot what it's called) and little sample tube of some foot cream. Wouldn't really buy either of them again, hated the smell of the body wash and I don't like using foot cream that often....

I can't remember who was looking for OPI Cuckoo for this Colour but Lena White have now reduced it. Not sure how cheap it is with their p&p but may be worth a look.

Have had email from Nails Inc today with the new glitters and the Glastonbury one looks lovely. I'm still kicking myself for not getting hold of a full sized bottle of OPI Mad as a Hatter.

Am gonna catch up on all the threads later. Have bobbed on here this am to sort out the returns form for my ghds. Poor things have died. Am hoping their still within warranty.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
