Two UUs (or Throw Outs) today:
Body Shop blusher: bought this so many eons ago I can barely remember, but I haven't used it for ages, so I threw it out as I didn't even like it that much when I wore it, but I was keeping it as a 'just in case' blusher. However, I have realised that I have enough 'just in case' blushers, that it's no longer an issue!
Sensitive bits sunscreen: erm, probably not what you are thinking - it's meant for noses, earlobes etc. I bought it several years ago and never used it, although it has been opened. It says that it goes off after 6 months, so it must be dead by now!
And in a rustle through my stash I found about 4 more Mitchum deoderants, when I thought I had run out, so happy days! Particularly as I haven't seen any on special offer for a while.
Oh, I was given a present of 2 boxes of baby l'Occitane hand creams. Although it's an 'in', I've not counted it as an official 'in' as if was rather unexpectedly gifted to me.
That's the kind of present Pickle likes! Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???

Argh! Men!!
Me and the OH had "words" he aplogised, was gonna start treating me better etc.. It lasted all of about 3 days... Yesterday we went to his mates party thing and the "really hot girl" from his course was there... Bearing in mind I already was wary because she texts him like 24/7 and he keeps mentioning how hot she is (I dont think he means to as such, but he does...), anyway he'd warned me that she's hot blah blah blah, and I'm not sure what I thought she'd look like, maybe you know 5'5, size 10, brunette with pale skin, thick black eyeliner etc, abit rock-y....
Boy was I wrong...
We arent even in the same LEAGUE!!
She was about 6'2, size 4, blonde (albeit fake), light african/dark olive skinned, like a supermodel!!!
How on EARTH am I supposed compare to that!?!
Well, the night wasnt too bad... Until the OH got drunk... Then he kept puttin his arms round her waist (it looked abit weird, he's only 5'8) etc.... Then, she went off with his mate, which didnt bother the OH, but he then texted his mate saying "you're so lucky!!!"
....:(:eek::(:eek::(:eek::(.....
He apologised this morning as he didnt remember doing it but I was just a bit.. well... deflated really.....
I just wanted to put it to you guys... Am I being irrational on this occasion because of all the problems we've been having lately??Dr_Roberto wrote: »Hi , am back forgot my password pfft. silly me

Evening! Couple of UU's to declare - Garnier pure moisturiser - WIBA - probably not it's supposed to keep blemishes and spots away but I don't think it really did. To be honest though it's hard for me to tell with my skin as I have PCOS so it's a flipping nightmare. Pushing 40 and still have skin like a teenager! I have ordered the Avon spot professional stuff to see if that's any good.
UU BS mango BB - WIBA - love BB but not to fussed about the flavour I have other faves!0 -

That would be taking sunbathing to a whole new level....:DI just wanted to put it to you guys... Am I being irrational on this occasion because of all the problems we've been having lately??
I don't think you are being irrational, I would be raging
Men, huh :eek:Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Another UU of Crabtree and Evelyn soap, milk soap nextDebt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
You're right Alanis - you're not in the same league, she isn't good enough to polish your shoes. She allowed him to put her arms round his waist with you there and wasn't discomfited by it? Whatta cow.
Remind the OH that he was supposed to be treating you better and see what happens....
Rosemary, so sorry for your rubbish day, just when you didn't need it.
On topic: My sister was looking for a non-herby, non fruity 2 in 1 shampoo and was thrilled to bits to discover Boots Essentials. 500 ml for 60p and she was so happy on the phone.
She is recovering from radiotherapy and is very sensitive to smells at the moment for some reason. As she said, having an unexpected fruity whiff under your nose all day long can be a bit much and she does have a point. Herbal Essences were singled out as the worst offenders.
Splutterers are all refusing to die.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Thanks guys!
Sometimes I feel like I'm not being objective, like, I'm just picking at all the tiny things just because we've had issues...
On topic:
Alton I swear by the Avon spot stuff!! I stopped using it as I forgot it one morning, and the next, and the next etc etc and now have had a MASSIVE breakout =[

Lush Bubblegum lip scrub
[HG] Herbal Essences Smooth and Soft conditioner

I'm going to have to do another ebay run, seriously running out of money, not sure when my first pay day is with it being a new job0 -
charlie792 wrote: »Found out yesterday a band we like is playing in Cardiff in August - saw them back in '09 at Reading festival but always good to see people at thier own gig. Didn't even realise they were doing a UK tour as they are a lot bigger in the USA than over here. I imagine they are over here for the festival season though. I was in to them back in the day when I was a lot younger (like 12!) but they are still fab (and theyve been going 14years), but I can see us now being some of the older audience
Anyway OH just checked to see if there were tickets left and there was so he's paid for them for us
Ohh! Which band? One of my favourites placed at Reading 2009 and have been around for AGES and are huge in the US. If it is the same band then I will get tickets beg, borrow or steal!0 -

Nothing in or out to report......
Not much to really say....went out Friday night, went for dinner and a few drinks after. Didn't really drink that much but OH ended up saying he felt pretty drunk, got home and a fight ensued - litterally no idea even why
I ended up with a large glass of water poured over my head - as I was lying on the bed at the time absolutely everything got soaked:mad: So I took to hitting him with my soaking wet pillow (in all fairness it was soft....)
He eventually came and apologised though which in all fairness is something he has never done in all the years Ive known him.
Ended up having to put towels on my side of the bed just so I could get some sleep, still a bit damp now
Hey ho, put it down to a stupid drunken thing and we're fine again now anyway...
Car on the other hand is not..Its proper sketchy and every time we turn left makes this terrible noise like something is scraping. His dad had a look at it today and thinks it might be the suspension so that's going into the garage on Tuesday....
I am REALLY confused....I asked OH to put some money into my account for the DD's due the other day but he forgot to do it, I panicked as it was the day they were meant to go out so I did it myself that morning but the DD out was already listed on my bank statement. The thing is I only had £26 in the account and the DD was for £50. I paid in £82.99 to cover the next DD too which went in immediately. Now my bank balance is showing at £72. I can't make the figures make any sense but its saying my £50 DD has been paid! Think im going to have to ring the company on Monday to confirm they really do have my money
my recent problems with the bank cost me £54:mad::mad::mad::mad:
the DD went out but bounced so the bank charged me £25 and the other firm charged me £12 plus £12 late payment fee(tho they did reverse that bit)plus bank charged me £5 for going over my overdraft. When i called the other firm to say the DD had bounced they did not know and would not take the payment till it had all gone through the system:eek::eek:I HATE BANKS!!!!so annoyed as they had my savings account with plenty to cover bills in too and the only reason there was aproblem was they took so long to clear a cheque.
re men....DH came back early from swim(think he was wondering if i would still be here:rotfl:and after supper came and lay on me on the sofa and asked me to put my arm round him:mad:he said I would do so then listed the times.....1.5 hours later I still hadn't.did ask if he wanted a cuddle this a.m and he said I knew you would come round:mad::mad::mad::mad:a whole day of aggro and I still have no idea why.
I did have a nice evening whilst he went for a swim tho,did a bit in the garden as the sun finally came out and then had a glass of fizz....only place still with sun tho was on the path next to the house:rotfl:it is a white house and i have planted a row of lavender so i shut my eyes and listened to the birds and the bees and imagined I was in Provence:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
decided we need to make a patio to enjoy the evening sun now(used to habe fields behinds us but now lots of houses that stop the sun:(:(:(:(
really need to do a PYNM but there is an offer on at the local spa which includes a mini pedicure and not sure if that means going with "naked" nails,it also gives a mini facial and back massage for £35 which I think is great as the posh Sanctuary spa in town is chargeing a "bargain" rate of £85 for a similar thing:eek::eek::eek::eek:0
