Happy birthday sarah, hope your day continues as it started.

mcculloch, that sounds very sensible of the security guys. I am not a fan of those mobility scooters, they are way to quiet and fast and a lot of people using them have a bad attitude towards everyone else.

I have an in, Eternity Moment EDT, this was reduced in Boots from £26 I think to £19.50 and then I used the £5 perfume voucher so a bit of a bargain at £14.50 I thought. I've used Eternity for years but not this one, tried the tester and it is lovely but have put my bottle away for later.

    Have a good Sunday all!

Happy Birthday Sarah, hope you have a lovely day :)

Have a bit of an odd one, had an IN for Xen-Tan Bronze Luxe that I found in a cupboard (from last summer no doubt) went to use it last night to find the lotion had turned greem! i'm pretty sure it is meant to be a light creamy mocha colour instead of creamy green

It's now been thrown, I wouldn't want to risk it...but that does mean it needs replacing. Can anyone suggest a decent tan lotion, which doesn't smell vile but gives good even coverage and doesn't turn you orange? I have pale skin and the Xen Tan was ideal but I'm not sure I want to spend out so much on it again.

I use Laura Geller Balance N Brighten. Can't remember how long I've been using it - wouldn't buy any other now though. I had problems finding a mineral foundation that matched my skin tone however because this has different colours in it it does the trick. Don't know about the size you are planning to buy but the full size lasts me about 6months or more (with daily usage). I do use a primer under it just to even out my skin first and it stays put all day with primer too. Never feels cakey (which I found with other mineral foundations) and very easy to apply although I don't like the brush that came with it. I use a kabuki brush that I got from Boots with a mineral blush.

Have never used Bronze N Brighten but I do also love her blushers. I own a few (thanks to a recent TSV AD). I have Sunswept (this was the first I got and still my favourite), Apricot Berry and then I have 2 x duos which are Ethereal Rose/Satin Sheen Berry (the matte version of the one in your proposed purchase) and Ethereal Rose/Satin Sheen Sunswept). I personally prefer the non matte ones although I do like the Ethereal Rose. They do look very bright in the pots so it may be wise to go carefully with them at first and build the colour up. HTH.

Wow thanks so much VALM for such a helpful review! I think I will go for it! Also tempted by today's Leighton Denny TSV...must resist!

Happy birthday Sarah! Hope you have a lovely day

    Happy birthday Sarah :)

Think I may have another OUT today, the Clinique mini mascara I'm currently using is also making my eyes a bit itchy, and it's flaking (like the one I threw out last week). Again this one may be old-ish so I'll chuck it just to be safe. I have problems with my eyes as my tear ducts are blocked so have to be careful.

Happy Birthday Sarah, I do hope the weather's holding for you. It's miserable here which means we're not going out anywhere for a few hours :) though I do have a line full of washing :(! How lovely of your DH to get you the S&G bundle when he knows you love it so much. LOL at the doggies present to you too :D biscuits indeed!
Mcculloch good for you being granted permission to ride. It does seem pointless having a mobility scooter/trike which you then aren't allowed to use though. I can't imagine why anyone would want to be in one if they didn't need it. Although, there's nowt as queer as folk I suppose. I do agree there should be some sort of limit on the speed of those things though, some people around here whip up behind you and you have to drag the kids out of the way as you're jumping to safety because you would just get run over. Hence me avoiding town most of the time.

I had a UU yesterday, Spotlight perfume from Avon. WIBA?: Probably not, I don't think they sell it any more anyway. It was a gift and whilst it was alright, it wasn't a HG. Will open up my last perfume now. A small bottle of Vera Wang Princess. When this is used up, I will try the perfume oils to see if I can make purchasing cheaper. Then I can buy more :D (ok naughty, I know :o)

The Leighton Denny TSV is not doing anything for me. Seriously, if you want Leighton Denny go and get the copies of Harpers Bazaar mag on them as two of the colours in the March AD are on there. Will save you the p&p as well. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

slathered my feet in my Virgin Vie cooling foot gel last night before putting socks on. it's started spluttering but there's still plenty in there, the only problem is that i don't like it! I've decided i don't like the fact that it's a gel, certainly doesn't feel moisturising in any way. Ah well i'll keep going with it and then hit the next foot cream/lotion in my stash.
  • Been into town, but think I can avoid the naughty step, due to excellent purchasing and use of vouchers.

    Out:

Elemis Cleansing Melt Gel - WIBA? It smells heavenly and has lasted a reasonable time but can't see any real skin benefits, so at £20 probably not.

Pantene Colour Protect/Repair Shampoo and Conditioner are down to the dregs, so replaced in Boots as the 400ml sizes were on 2 for £5. First time in ages I've repurchased a shampoo and conditioner - its good value and my colour still looks good.

Organic Surge Bergamot shower gel -WIBA? yes, it smells great so would buy in the future.

    In:

Pantene Shampoo/Cond as above on 2 for £5
Boots No.7 Quick Thinking Wipes (using Boots £5 voucher)
Boots Eyeshadow brush (using Boots £5 voucher)

Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Cleansing bar to replace the Elemis Cleanser - only £3 though!
Body Shop shower puff thing as my current one is falling apart
Body Shop Earth Lovers Pear/Lemongrass showergel (x2) to replace Organic Surge one - was on buy one get one half price still, so £7.50 for two.
Oh, and bought Glamour so got the free Benetint that came with it.

Didn't buy any nail varnish!!! Yay me.

thanks for the tip again VALM :T, hope I can find this mag I don't see it around very often. the colour I really wanted to try 'Supermodel' is one of the shades they are giving away so will be the best way to try if I can get hold of it :D
