Thought you could not use Advantage points in part-payment for items, only for the full amount. If you use a voucher towards the purchase does that still allow you to use points to pay? (Or have they changed the rules or have I misunderstood the intention?)0 -

Also have a few naughty INS to 'fess up to so bunch up in the naughty corner I'm coming in -
Rimmel 60 second nail polish in Rose Libertine - thanks for the recommendation RightyTightyLeftyLoosey, the colour is fab
I will have to try really hard not to buy anything else for the rest of the month now.
You're welcome! Hope you enjoy.
I've been pretty well behaved, posted off all the ebay retailed goods but didn't head to Boots and blow the cash (was raining!).
UU - ROC Multi-Correxion Eye Cream - WIBA? Already have, but this time from eBay seller, not Boots, making a huge saving. Thought I was money saving last time using a £5 voucher but this was much cheaper. In fairness, I've had my money's worth out of it, it lasts well and even at £20 I think its value for money. Possibly because my other favourite is Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream which is £50 :eek:0 -

Just thought I'd mention that I've been grocery shopping in Sainsbury's today and Instyle and Marie Clare are both sold with £2.00 off each. This is cheaper than Tesco Grrrrr! Didn't buy any more mags for freebies though.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Well I'll do the good news first. One UU - Eve Lom TLC cream. I bought it ages ago when I had some irritated skin, it worked well but has been hanging around for so long I demoted it to a night cream just to get it finished. WIBA possibly but it was very spendy for the short time I actually needed it.
Ins: two I needed, eye serum and day cream both Elemis as I've gone back to that recently after I missed the QVC TSV on Alpha H cleanser and bought some Elemis as a substitute. With those came 5 travel sizes free of: bath elixir; pro-collagen night cream; facial wash; papaya enzyme facial peel and pro-collagen serum. They alo gave me some sachets of shower gel and hand lotion, shower cream, body polish and body cream.
I'll be on that naughty step for a while yet.0 -
and has also prescribed me cocodamol (sp?). I've taken that stuff before for my ankle and it's not nice
Glad you made it to the Doc's. I couldn't function without my co-codomalIt does work :T
Sawan, pleased you went to the Dr's, hope the pain killers work for you. Just remember how binding co-codamol can be  and take precautions (sorry if TMI).
very true
One IN: S&G Clean Mary 75ml - won on eBay for £1.99 inc p&p so very pleased
UU's:
Miss Cole Body Butter: WIBA? Unlike the other MC products I actually like this and if I can get it at a good price I would buy again. I did add a little Vanilla Perfume Oil as it smells a bit 'clinical'
Planet Spa Sake & Rice Illuminating Face Mask & Scrub: WIBA? Yes - it's a very gentle scrub which you leave to dry on your face. Smells like baby formulaI got two applications out of the sachet.
Planet Spa Olive Oil Hydrating Face Mask: WIBA? Definately - lovely soft texture - dries on your skin but doesn't dry your skin or leave it tight and uncomfortable. My skin was lovely and smooth after useA little gutted as I had enough left for a third mask but it's vanished from the bathroom  My guess is OH dropped it in the bath
Keeping fingers crossed for lots of lovely (useable) goodies for my birthday tomorrow- and some chocolate :rotfl:
Got a huge envelope in the post from my brother and in it were a couple of cards and and some paintings from my nephew - weighed next to nothing but they sent it special delivery just so it would be here on time and it cost them almost £10  I wish they'd saved their cash and just sent it normal post but I can't say that cos it would make me look ungrateful. My brother is paranoid about forgetting my birthday - bless him
Fun Spooky Fact - for years and years my brother couldn't remember my birthdate and was convinced it was July 16th - no-one we knew was born in July so we couldn't figure out why he was so convinced it was that date. Flashforward many years to when his first son was born - the date? July 16th  *insert spooky do-da-do's here*. True story
Got the Little Dog a new bed today and some positive news from the vet. They have finally agreed that we can do direct claims for the insurance with them instead of having to pay everything upfront and reclaim - this means we can now get Little Dog all the tests and treatment he needs without worrying :j
Hope y'all are having a lovely (and not too wet or cold) Saturday :A0 -
Another Free BS £5 voucher - no minimum spend - in the Telegraph today and tomorrow. Has to be used by tomorrow
but cheaper than InStyle if you were going anyway

Hi all,
3 UU in the last couple of days:
No7 Cleanse & Care Make up remover WNBA, nothing special for the price (I used a £5 no7 voucher towards it)
Boots Cucumber wipes WBA, love these they are my HG. Already have another 11 packs in stock from the recent glitch
L'oreal Sublime Mousse - WBA. Very impressed with this, the first time I have dyed my hair and not had any splashes either on my skin or around the bathroom! Very easy to apply and colour looks great. I got this for free with a superdrug voucher but I would definitely buy it again.
On another note, I'm thinking of purchasing this Laura Geller set http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.229466.cm_scid.KeywordSearch
I've been wanting to try balance and brighten for ages, has anyone used this before and is it any good? Comments would be gratefully received0 -
Yay I think we might have been short on glamour deliveries when I looked the other day because I found it today
My half price tesco order came tooAlready! This is my favourite. I thought it was a bargain for £12.50 but I need to arrange some outings somewhere nice to wear it
