Evening everyone
Sawan -just caught up on all the posts and big ((((((((hugs)))))))) I hope your doctor can help.
Mrs Butler - loved your post. Read you used to work for Liz Earle - would love that kind of job - was is good?
Two more UU's:j
Balm Balm tea tree lip Balm - WNBA - a bit too sticky and greasy.
Guerlain Idylle perfumed body lotion - WNBA - smelt a bit overpowering and synthetic.
Onto...
Decleor rich system corps body lotion - just tried it and it is a cross between a lotion and body butter, smells lovely and fresh, and skin feels great after using it.
spluttering - Decleor hydra floral moisturiser...:T

Evening All! Just a quick post as I really need to get to bed. 5 OUTs today, all Nail Polish. Didn't like some of the colours, streaky application etc. One of my team is starting a health and beauty group for young females and was looking for donations. They were very pleased.
I just need to find £5 to put in my pot.
Also I have decided not to bother with Glamour as the only tint I would have been interested in was the Moonbeam which is not included in the freebies. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
MY. FEET. ARE. SO. SORE.
Ladies, I recommend you avoid doing 10 mile walks in brand new trainers. Oh my life my feet. I've used a whole tub of moisturiser on them to try and soothe them a bit :rotfl:
So out: FCUK whipped body cream. WNBA I don't really like it.:j0 -

Hello ladies,
Hugs to those that need them, especially Sawan. I'm very lucky & don't suffer with migranes but a friend at uni had such bad ones that she missed at least 2 exams. It must be horrible.
My UUs just keep on coming:
Dove shampoo for coloured hair. WBA - nice product at a fair price.
OS mint & tee tree conditioner. WBA - am not fussy over conditioner and usually buy whatever is on offer, but this has a lovely scent.
17 Watermelon lipstick. WNBA - colour was ok but the lippie broke twice and I had to push it back together so all a bit messy.
Essence glitter mascara (German version of Collection 2000). This was binned as when I tried to use it, it had all dried up and the wand came apart.
And one IN: a very unnecessary, bored-in-my-lunchbreak puchase, Essence Special Effect Topper Circus Confetti. It has really big pieces of glitter in it and looked very holidayish, so got carried away. It's quite a good range, very cheap so great for experimenting.
Talking about suncream, a consumer magazine recently tested products on the Swiss market for ones containing nasty substances. The big names were all at the bottom and Aldi & Lidl were top & the cheapest to boot, as happens so often.
Mingle:Marie Clare- i don't think i've bought make up since forever because there are always loads of magazine freebies! I', currently using the Body Shop one from a magazine promotion 2 years ago- craziness!
Me too, there was a set of two BS ones with either Elle or Marie Claire, I use the blue one every day for work but it shows no sign of ever finishing!
I'm now trying to finish up the Baylis and Harding lavender body balm but my god it's AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. It stings and... words can't express how dire it is! Hopefully that'll be gone by this time next week *shudder*
I agree how awful B&H is, but if it's stinging you then you should bin it. That's a sign something is wrong somewhere.
UU! OS mint and tea tree conditioner WIBA?When it's getting low you can't squeeze it out so I unscrewed the cap and stuck a finger up there to scoop... Oh that sounds so wrong
I had to get the secateurs to my bottle and got 3 more applications out of it!
The other night I decided to have a bath. My shower gel is beginning to splutter and as it's a 300ml bottle I've had enough of it. I decided to try it as bath foam & was amazed at how well it bubbled, better than most actually. It got me wondering whether it's all a ploy to get us ladies to buy more things. I'll think twice about buying bath foam again, especially as I have more showers.

Morning,
Some really useful reviews - thanks ladies! I've made a note of a few things that I'm going to try after I finish my stash. One IN with my subscription copy of glamour - Benetint. Thanks to the person who posted about the lead levels - it's good to know and I certainly wouldn't buy any of it now. However, I have tried on my freebie version already...
I may buy two other copies as I wanted the Posie tint in particular and don't have anything like High Beam in my make up bag, so it would be good to try. But that's going to be all for June!0 -
Morning everyone....
Well got back from my folks late last night, ended up bringing back with me stuff I found lying around in my old room....so now even more stuff I have here to use up!
Apologies as I don't want to get a downer on everyone so skip this bit if you wish...
Actually got a bit upset yesterday, well in the middle of the night if truth be told and had a bit of a cry. Found out yesterday from going back to my parents that a very much loved guy from the local area had diedIt wasn't a shock as such, he got sick about a year ago and by December he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, they told him chemo could give him anything from 6 months to 2years, sadly his chemo didn't work and he came off it a month ago and sadly passed away a few days ago. Its really sad - as I said he was loved and known by most people, he was pretty much the 'local newspaper' - always there attending the events, taking photos and obviously publishing it every week without fail (without being paid for it) and had a very well maintained online newspaper website which I always used to see what was going back on at 'home'. He was still working almost up to the end and was incredibly brave about the whole thing.....a top bloke its just so sad
Anyway, my INs
Soap and Glory gift set - OH bought me 3 years ago (one of the first presents he ever got me) which is part of the reason I never used itanyway a lovely toiletry bag - almost looks like it could be used as a handbag...
inside it has Clean of England spa body wash 500ml and Big Butter spa 300ml
Hotel style minis x2 - went to London for OH's exhibition a few summers back and stayed at the University of Westminster's halls - they provided these nice little sets in a toiletry bag
Shower gel 30ml x2, Shampoo 30ml x2 and a circle of soap x2
Mitchim roll on deodrant never used
Dove roll on deodorant half used
Big bottle of Mouthwash never used
I know thats not even close to the true amount Ive still got back there - I didn't even look in the garage
Bought back some other bits and bobs too - a few pairs of shoes (shhhh!) found some slippers, some bras and one of my bikinis that I spent a week looking for at my house! I freaked though I opened the cupboard doors at my folks and it was litterally bulging...need to take some time and really go through everything because Im sure half of it could probably be got rid of - Oh and thats not even including the stuff I have in thier loft and the rest in the garage. How the hell do you end up with so much 'stuff'?? Things I can't throw away, not really worth anything to sell and have no use for anymore.MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11
Aug 2014 £114,750 -35 yrs (2049)
Sept 2016 £104,800
Nov 2018 £82,500 -24 yrs (2042)0 -
And BAM, it's in the bin! Thank you ladies for encouraging me to ditch that awful B&H! needless to say I will not be buying it again!0
