Well done Mingle! and Charlie that is sad - but how brave of him to carry on as he did. It's lovely that people are thinking of him so fondly too.

A uu for me, botanics soothing eye make up remover, wba, did the job well for me, lasts ages and is only £2 ish.
Re people doubting Benefit's highbeam, it is very subtle as long as you are not heavy handed with it, that little bottle should last ages. I use mine at the top of my cheekbones, 3 little dots blended in a curve from the outer edge of your eye to the highest point of your cheekbone gives a well scrubbed glow.
Hanval - I found shower gel works fab as a bubble bath, really bubbly and they last well.
Had my hair cut this morning, very short, cropped with a longer sweeping fringe, very pleased with it today, hope i still like it tomorrow. Should take about 30 seconds to dry:DThe devil makes works for idle hands0 -
The other night I decided to have a bath. My shower gel is beginning to splutter and as it's a 300ml bottle I've had enough of it. I decided to try it as bath foam & was amazed at how well it bubbled, better than most actually. It got me wondering whether it's all a ploy to get us ladies to buy more things. I'll think twice about buying bath foam again, especially as I have more showers.
I use bath stuff as shower gel, it's exactly the same stuff!Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -

Ive not seen/spoken or had any contact with her in over 10 years, the address is from 2002 so I have no idea if she is still living there but Im going to send her a letter and see if I can establish some kind of contact with her.......

Mrs Butler - fab post - all those UU's and great reviews
Charlie - so sad yet so inspirational
Couple of UU's:
Planet Spa Olive Oil Firming Neck & Chest Serum: WIBA? Not really a serum - too runny - and too small a sample to really notice any effects worthwhile enough for me to want to buy it again. So No
Boots Vit E Day Cream: WIBA? Already have
Aldi Lacura Serum: WIBA? Definately! I have enough various serum samples to last me until the end of the month but this will be an IN for July (if not before). This isn't my HG as I still prefer the P&P but it's definately my affordable HG :T0 -

Hi
nothing to report unless I confess to you lot that I've just eaten my own body weight in chocoate biscuits? Naughty ha
.
Charlie, bit of a rollercoaster time for you at the moment isn't it? Hope things work out OK re your nan and sorry to hear about your neighbour.
Sawan, you'd better have seen that Doctor. Hope you're feeling better now my lovely.
Going to try and get on with some stuff this evening because I've an awful lot to do and no motivation. Went to watch DS at a rugby tournament this morning instead of doing any housework. Much more fun.
Made DH promise me that he'll help with the window frame tonight and that he'll move the TD and the microwave so that I can get on and paint the utility room tonight/tomorrow/when hell freezes over
Funny weather here, it's wet and blustery interspersed with boiling hot weather. I'm sitting here in my linen trousers, linen top and wooly cardigan. Covered in goosebumps on my top half and fine on the lower part. Most odd!
Both kids are grounded at the moment so may get them to help me with some painting, they'll enjoy that actually and I have a tiled floor out there so can clean off paint spills easily enough.

Afternoon ladies, Checking in for duty
I was so scared of Kaz and EH I went to the Doctor even though I felt ok first thing (that was short-lived :rotfl:). He thinks I have a muscular headache. Hmm.. Not convinced (is that awful of me?). He's told me to take ibuprofen on the doses and has also prescribed me cocodamol (sp?). I've taken that stuff before for my ankle and it's not niceI'm surprised I'm not addicted to painkillers the rate they're prescribed to me!! Still feeling nauseous and have pain but now got to see how I feel next week
Thanks for the hugs Bev and Hanval *hugs*
Welcome to the thread Mrs Butler and thank you for the wonderful breakdown on the items you've used
