    Hi all again

Just back from a trip down the lane to try to buy three calendars for penninewoman from a local gallery. She's going to use them for presents I think. Various pictures of Pendle Hill which is near her home town.

But, foolishly I stopped and looked around the gallery where I was buying them from, as you do, and chatted to the artist in residence and so ended up buying a Kenyan batik. Neat. And at £25 for an original batik I didn't think it was too bad. :o

But, the only real OS was the walk down (and back up) the hill. Guess that's today's exercise. :)

hello everyone. Have just been to the department Christmas lecture-a lecturer from the History of Science group has being telling us all about magic and science. And there was wine afterwards. On a small breakfast, and no lunch (no time) 2 glasses of vino was a bad idea!

oh well. not much OS in the week, due to work, but have been helping the BF tile his bathroom and have been using up the last of my veg and store cupboard stuff to stock up the freezer until the new year. Then my grand 2007 plan will start and will restock the store cupboard etc

big hugs to those that need them and hurrah for new kitchens PP!

    Hi everyone!
Back again. Have shot home and helped OH make the packed lunches for tomorrow and put a dark load in. The small person has his Xmas party at Cubs tonight and has to wear something pink for it...as an 8yo boy he's hughly underwhelmed by the prospect!! However, he's fairly chipper because my friend has passed over a globe to me for him as they've bought a new one and he's map mad. Now just got to attempt to find space in that pickle of his he calls a bedroom!!!
    Enjoy your evening Peeps!

LOL, at this end of town we say that about Darwen Tower, which I can see out of my bedroom window (actually I haven't seen it for days - either dark or raining)

PP, strange how you get excited about having running water :j

Been & bought my christmas party top for Thursday (Asda!) on the way home, put out the recycling/rubbish for the morning & ironed a few shirts. Tea only needs some rice boiling and I need to pack, cos I'm away for the next couple of nights. I've got Sunday night's Lost on Sky+ to watch later, and a button to sew back onto a pair or work trousers.

    Have a nice evening
