You know its "officially" christmas when the TV & Radio times are out!!!
Sorry didnt get on here yesterday - so Happy Belated Birthdays to anyone I missed and hugs to all those who are in need of them.
Well done to all the littleuns in their nativities - my DS is doing his tomorrow, he's an angel! - No Im not praising up my DS, he's playing the Angel Gabriel:rotfl: (do you think they picked him cos thats his name by chance?)
Anyway, we have been practicing all the xmas songs - Rudolf, Walking in a Winter Wonderland, We Wish u a merry xmas! along with all the "signs" (which they teach them) so I suppose its the usual "parental argy bargy" for the front row and the usual paparazzi cameras, tripods, videos etc:rotfl:
Do I see a mention of a london meet? bargainrzl? who is invited?:whistle:0 -
mrsA - Congrats to yr ds on passing driving test:T

mushypeas - yes I like Next Jeans and also M&S have some sparkly ones this year too.
michelle - you sound so down.xx It is hard after just having a baby, your hormones plummet! and not only that after the initial loads of people popping round first week or two, after that you dont hear from anyone? they think yr too busy and i found it got very lonely at home, its not always "happy" all the time like you expect having a baby to be.
twink - hugs to you & your family & yr DS for going to Iraq at this time, god speed him home safe and well soon xx
quasar - hugs xx on the loss of poor birdiexx
welcome alfie !0 -
Well - ditto to what Shez says.
Says it all perfectly really.
Got completely drenched this morning, but DD and I did get the christmas shopping completed! :T
got an application form for the nursery up the road from us so DD can start going 2 mornings a week. She was at a day nursery on a thursday but she hates it. I hope the shorter days will be easier for her. Luckily I have a great MIL (apart from all the things i say about her:rotfl: ) so we can be flexible like this. Let's see how it goes. Hated to think of DD being miserable. But i do think she needs some time with other kids as MIL does tend to spoil them. (Better than ignoring them, i know, i know)
Choccie biccies baking in the oven. You can always tell when I'm on a diet as I feed up the rest of the family.
DH away from tonight til friday. So I should get some stuff done, and I don't have anyone to feed. Kids get fed at MIL's when I'm at work. So I think I'll get some batch cooking in so we're set for over christmas. Even if I don't get the actual cooking done, I am determined to do the planning. :A"You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me." - C.S. Lewis0 -

Oh tru, just reminded me, i havnt had my advent calender yet either (and its a galexy one!!!)
Catznine - yes, avy is DS and DD at Camp Minnie Mickey in the Animal Kingdom!!! Littles ones dad still hasnt finished the downstairs loo, i cant complain because he is doing it for free (just costs) and he is fitting it in around everything else he has to do, but im sure it will be done before xmas!!!!
Well, was really good in town today, only did the few bits i needed to do including DDs new earings, and (sorry i cant remember who said it) i bet i do find the others now, but never mind, i used an argos gift card that i had, so they didnt cost me anything. I did forget the pick 'n' mix in woolies tho, but then, if i had bought them i would have to eat them!!!! I didnt go in any other shops, so didnt get tempted by all the christmassy things about, and as i got in early, missed all the crowds.
I now have a lovely smelling chicken stew bubbling away in my new SC (thanks mum!!!) which will be ready for after DSs football training. Apart from that, ive not done much today, although i did have a flip through the christmas tv guide i bought (not the radio times, so no Colin for me to dribble over!!!) whilst the little one had a sleep on the sofa.
Right, off for a little browse now,
Hope everyone has a lovely evening
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
