    Morning all :hello:

I have some good news........... I've got a day of supply teaching on Thursday! :j :j Woohoo! Money before Christmas! Ok, so I'm absolutely petrified about going back into the classroom BUT it's a decent school that I'm going to (I went there the last time that I was doing supply) and decentish children... I hope :D. Considering I thought I'd be just starting after Christmas, then it's a welcome bit of employment!

Last night we had some friends round for supper. It was really quite delicious, but unfortunately one friend wasn't feeling well so spent most of the evening asleep on the sofa! He missed out on the divine wine that we'd brought back from Italy on our honeymoon. Ah well, more for me! ;)

The same ill friend also brought us some food goodies. He works for Tesco HQ, so when they get samples in he gets to take some home that they don't taste test at HQ. So, we've got some fresh egg noodles and some pasta stir through sauces. I think that we'll have a stir fry tonight and use the egg noodles. I had done a meal plan for the next fortnight, using up storecupboard stuff, however we also need to use this other food up. :o Oh the trauma! :D

Plans for the day............. hmmm, not sure at the moment. I need a shower and then I've told myself that I'll got for a long walk around the town as a bit of free exercise. DH had suggested that I go swimming, but I would have to drive 7 miles to the nearest pool AND then pay to go. I'm taking the cheaper (and more environmentally friendly :)) option!

    Take care everyone.

Morning Evryone - Hope we are well on this cold morning - Woke up to frost.

Glad you have a lovely trip GinGin - back to reality now.

Not at work today, manage to book the day off - ready to see DD in her nativity play, she's Mary AGAIN. Bless her. They performed for the school yesterday and DS said it was brilliant - which was a good comment coming from him, lol

Must ring the doctors again, at 8.30 when they open, earache still not gone, if anything its got worse, its all blocked up, and very muffled to hear.

Must empty DD bedroom, it looks like the local "dump" yard.DS is learning to keep his tidy (after a few nags)

OH has taken my car to work today. Think he's now decided to scrap his har and look for another cheap run about. I no its not money saving at all - but we will have to share for the time being, and he'll just have to get used to walking.

Right, must go and get the phone ready to ring the dr's, they get quickly booked up.

Have a lovely day all, wrap up warm and Take care
    Love as usual

    Hi!

Another bad night for me, blocked sinus's making it hard to sleep and they're no better this morning, due to other medi I cant take decongestant which is a right pain so have to manage with olbas oil.Am coughing up some yukky gunk and blowing my nose for England!

Last night I had to take DS to Kidderminster hospital with severe toothache, was in a right state, they gave him some pills and we've got an emergency dental appointment for 10am, poor lad he's had a dentist phobia since he was young(he's 16) and has just about overcome it so I hope this doesn't put him back again.

On a brighter note I've sold another book on Amazon:j

I hope all those also suffering get some relief.

back later to let you know how he gets on at dentist

    Take care xx
    Do what you love :happyhear

Twink - Good luck for your son whilst he's away in Iraq. My thoughts are with the families who's loved One's will be away under these circumstances over the festive season.

Mrs A congrats to your son passing his driving test. Is this his first attempt?

I walked to school with DD, could not believe how icy cold the wind is, my cheeks still frozen.

Managed to get thru to the surgery, just waiting for the doctor on call to phone back, luckily its the same doc I saw 2weeks ago, so he knows the problem, so no need to mess about with an appointment.

Right - best put WM & TD on, catch you later again
    Love as usual

    Hello everybody,

Had a painting day today. Got back around 3pm to pay some bills online and the power went out. Just got back on about 1 hour ago. Had tea but will do the dishes in a minny. Just chilling with a red vino as I type. :D Hot day here but nice breeze has sprung up near the window where my computer is. DH is just heading off to the house to do more sanding. Because of the power cut he didn't finish it this arv.

It's such a lovely age when they do all the xmas plays isn't it. One year OS was Joseph. :D Glad you got back safe and sound Gin Gin. Better go and pay these bills. I doubt if the xmas fairy will. ((((((((hugs)))))))))to those who are poorly. Byeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
