    Hi everyone,

Wanted to ask for peoples opinion on what other small stuff I could put in a small coffee themed hamper. So far I have..umm a packet of those posh Douwe Egberts coffee pods!

Probably not a mug as the recipient has plenty already, but can't seem to think past a packet of nice biscuits.

Can anyone think of one or two other items I could put it along the same lines otherwise it's looking a bit bare! :o

    many thanks..

Does the recipient have a caffetiere? My mum got me a baby one from Tesco last year (I'm talking about one cup size) which was very cute. They do lots of different flavour coffees in Whittards if you have one close, they also do the flavoured syrups, or those sugar stirrers on sticks, though not much use if they don't take sugar!
    Finally bought a home

Oh thanks, yes he has a caffetiere so I could get a couple more different types of coffee as well, pods, 2 x different posh coffees and a pack of nice biscuits. Thanks for your suggestions :)

  • How about a nice box of sugar lumps. If you live near Ikea they sell some real good wafer thin coffee flavoured biscuits.

He doesn't take sugar, but thanks for the idea. I'm a tea drinker btw, hence the fact i'm struggling ;)

  • noodles86 - i was in te$co yesterday and they had a meter of jaffa cakes for half price (£6 reduced down to £3) was tempted myself - it was HUUUUGE! says it contained individually wrapped packs - 6 I think - to help keep fresh. Hmmmm just wondering how long it would take to eat a meter of jaffa cakes single-handed.... :D

I know I heard this ages ago and I go to Tesco's twice a week and there is none in the one in Cov Ricoh :(:(:( I check the biscuit aisle and the xmas aisle!

I have just remembered I have my grandad and his partner to buy for but we have been estranged for many years and have only seen them once this year but he has just sent me and dd some money for our birthdays so would like to get them something for xmas & then it is his birthday - Any ideas? Pressies for some people you hardly know - can't do smells or chocs or alcohol!!!
Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:

Hi, if you fancy going down the homemade route, how about some chocolate stirrers, flavoured coffees in nicely made pouches, some coffee cake, a mug hug? HTH

Wow SugarSpun that is amazing! Our christmas seems very low key in comparison.

I am still super excited though. Unfortunately my sloe gin bottles arrived today and one of them was cracked :( hope the company send me another to replace.

I am considering making some vanilla vodka since Lidl have vanilla pods on offer and i need something for contrast in the yin/yang bottles. my sloe gin is looking great already though! pinky and very tempting! I wasnt exactly singing its praises last night when i was pricking each individual sloe from my 2lb bag.

Now looking for my Christmas party dress online. I really should wear something I've already got but I would love something new! Does anyone else buy a christmas day outfit? I do! (suddently all the debt makes sense....)

thank you for the heads up about the vanilla pods at Lidl, doing my daughter a huge baking hamper for xmas, just been and picked up a few packets :)

I am quite surprised at how many christmas presents I have bought in and hope to start the wrapping this week as well as writing out the christmas cards as will be busy nearer christmas (due baby). Ihave both santa presents but DD gave no ideas previously so I bought stuff I think she will like and play with but this week she is now talking about a barbie camper. Not sure if to keep one of the parcels for her brithday and get the camper - she is 4yrs old.
