A bit ridiculous I know but I think I fell in love with them. I shall be keeping a few sets myself for oil and balsamic vinegar etc.
But hope to recoup some money selling a few online. :beer:0 -
Ive been naughty not popping on to this thread! My brothers items have come from play.com which are great. Due to my dad leaving for another woman money is still a huge issues. I had to take out a crisis loan just to make sure family could eat for the next few days. Stress levels are through the roof but I am still determind to have a great Christmas. I owe out £1500 through loans and debts i have gathered keeping my family ticking over. Being 19 and dealing with this , is not fun at all but I am still smiling:) - see a smile right there.
I am helping my mum with Xmas shopping as it keeps her spirits high and I have a better eye for a bargain. Need to get my brother a dvd , aftershave , some sweets and new jeans from my mum and thats him done.
I don't know what to get my mum! I have brought her SO much over the years.. she has more perfume then the perfume shop , smellies coming out her ears , all the books and films she has wanted. The only thing I can think as a stocking stuffer is a voucher for a fish pedicure from the local beauty shop which she will love.
Hope all your christmas preperations are all in good order.
Have a lovely Sunday xx
The fish places may be closed down soon so I'd be wary of that if you haven't already bought one x£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
The Ikea gingerbread houses have arrived! They look a little smaller than last year and are in a plastic wrapper rather than a box but the price is still a bargain £2.25. I think they make a fab gift - or a great fun activity for all ages (honest - I have never had so much fun!)
It says to stick it together using sugar syrup. Don't bother with this - buy some of the white royal icing in a tube (the stuff that sets hard). It sticks it together well and looks like snow. Decorating it is such fun!
My local store had loads. They are by the other foody bits.MSE aim: more thanks than posts :j0 -

It's done! But I didn't see this until too late and there is neither sherry nor mince pies in the house......0 -

I stupidly went on Amazon earlier... bad move
Have decided to buy Dad the new Ernie Wise book - have beat that down to about £9 - anyone seen it any cheaper? Also Mum has been harping on for ages that she wants to see Bridesmaids so despite the fact I had finished for her I'm going to pre-order that as well.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

I noticed that bestseller books are 60% off in WHSmith at the moment, and with the 20% off coupon they have been handing out with purchases lately that might knock some more off?
Otherwise I go on booksetc however noticed its £16 on there so you may well have a bargain! If you're going to get bridesmaids on DVD (it is very funny I highly recommend) then try out cdwow - they often give out £1.50 off coupons in their emails so if you sign up to their newsletter now you might get one in time0 -
Oh brilliant! thank you louby, will give that a go now*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
