And here it is!
Merry Cherries!
12 cherry tomatoes at room temperature.
Pinch of Salt
Juice from half a fresh lemon
200mls of Vodka
1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
1 Teaspoon red or green tabasco
Utensils: this is the hard bit as you need a syringe and needle for injecting into the tomatoes. Apparently you can get syringes for diabetics from chemists. Some local hospitals may be gracious enough to give you a syringe and needle in the A&E dept if you take the recipe in and ask them!
Method: Using the empty syringe go into the tomato through the green stalk area. Syringe asa much juice as possible out keeping the juice for a tomato stock.
Dissolve the salt in the lemon juice. Then mix in remaining ingredients and stir well.
Drain this mix through Muslin/double strength kitchen roll will do.
Draw back and fill the syringe with the filtered liquid.
Tap out any air bubbles by turning the needle end upwards.
Inject small amount of the mix into the green end. If you inject too much the skin will split! It is best to do quite a few extra the first time until you are best able to gauge!
Chill for about an hour!
Serve with small napkins and pre - warn that there can be small tomato spurts!!
Fiddly and time consuming but the response should be worthwhile!!
Enjoy! XQuit Smoking 12 years 2 months.0 -

No probs, pop the recipie on here for you. The good thing is you can make the batches as big or as little as you want them to be. I use either a cello bag, cello cone (get from ebay, I use a seller nickschicks), or clean sterlized jam jar.
Dark Coffee Mocha
1 tablespoon coffee
1 tablespoon cocca powder
1 tablespoon coffee whitner
Swiss Coffee mocha
1 tablespoon coffee
1 tablespoon drinking chocolate
1 tablespoon coffee whitner
Cafe-au-lait
1 tablespoon coffee
2 tablespoons coffee whitener
Cafe Vienna
1 tablespoon coffee
1 tablespoon cocca or drinking choc (which you've got to hand)
2 tablespoons coffee whitner
1 good pinch cinnamon
Thats the base to all the flavours, just double up etc as to how much you want to make, just stir well to mix.
To serve, use 3 teaspoons per cup, just add hot water.
xx
I got my coffee from Home bargains - 200g red mountain coffee was £1.99, whitner use own brand, cocoa, mr T value, and drinking choc used Galaxy (only coz it was on offer).
I had 2 jars coffee, 3 whitners, 1 box cocoa, 1 tub choc - £10 got 5 conatiner full of the mixtures. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Gone flavoured vodkas on the go!! Looking lush
Pommegrate - used a 250ml bottle, portion of pommegrate seeds top up with vodka, skae daily, after 7 days strain through and keep the liquid (the pommegrates do have kick in them!
Simple Christmas Cake flavoured vodka
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
small handfull dried mix fruit
Pop those in bottle, top up with Vodka, shake well, - when ready the sugar is dissolved, - strain off, can put a piece of lemon or orange in the bottle, use by date of 3 months
I used a bottle of Vodka type shnapps 20% alcohol, £4.99 bottle, but does go far.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Ive been naughty not popping on to this thread! My brothers items have come from play.com which are great. Due to my dad leaving for another woman money is still a huge issues. I had to take out a crisis loan just to make sure family could eat for the next few days. Stress levels are through the roof but I am still determind to have a great Christmas. I owe out £1500 through loans and debts i have gathered keeping my family ticking over. Being 19 and dealing with this , is not fun at all but I am still smiling:) - see a smile right there.
I am helping my mum with Xmas shopping as it keeps her spirits high and I have a better eye for a bargain. Need to get my brother a dvd , aftershave , some sweets and new jeans from my mum and thats him done.
I don't know what to get my mum! I have brought her SO much over the years.. she has more perfume then the perfume shop , smellies coming out her ears , all the books and films she has wanted. The only thing I can think as a stocking stuffer is a voucher for a fish pedicure from the local beauty shop which she will love.
Hope all your christmas preperations are all in good order.
Have a lovely Sunday xxNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

Thankyou to whoever recommended Mamade for making marmalade - so much easier than dealing with oranges etc! Feel like I've made a real start with christmas presents now, as I have 6 jars of orange and brandy marmalade & 6 jars of apple jelly sitting on the windowsill, with christmas chutney boiling away and 2 cakes nicely fed with brandy. I need to think what else I can make this early - maybe some fudge to put in the freezer and some crushed peach preserve (super easy using tinned peaches and jam sugar).0

I would love to be creative with baking and making but I don't have it in me lol. I am lucky to make a simple sponge cake without ruining it! Although this year I would like to make some fudge to with presentsxNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

well guys I've had a very productive weekend.... have now completed my pots of gold, snowman soup, sock cupcakes and also made labels for bags of sweets which will be reindeer poo, rudolph noses, snowman poo and santa kisses! Oh and bought most of the sweets for these - will bag up closer to the big day to keep everything as fresh as poss. Most of these bits are stocking fillers and also for my homemade hampers (remember me mumbling on about plum jam, knitting turkeys...!!... etc!) Gosh that seems distant yonder now! Still need to sort out either xmas eve/breakfast hamper for friends who are expecting their first baby; but otherwise I am pleased to say i am well and truely in control!!!!! Hope you are all enjoying yourselves too - here's hoping this christmas will be very chilled and relaxing (and as money neutral as poss) x x x0

You can't go wrong with a microwave fudge recipe, it's really easy, honestly. Also peppermint creams - super easy.0
