    Morning All

Off out tonight but apart from that not a lot happening today I don't think. Need to get on and finish some of my lists though and I've got the girls until lunchtime and then they're back again Sunday. So there won't be a lot of time when it's just us 4 - this afternoon and tomorrow morning until about 11.

Right I'd better make a move and do something - can't hoover yet as DD and the girls are still asleep.

    Have a good day all

    Good morning!

Not much flying going on here in the last couple of days :o DD has decided to come home for the weekend, but needs to go back on Tuesday so she can pack for when I bring her home Thursday! I have no idea where all her stuff is going for the next 3 months!

DH has been away all week, and will be working from tonight for the rest of the weekend :( When he got in he started sorting out the CD's (on our list). he had been 'thinking' on the long drive home  :rotfl:

I am off soon for a day painting in my Aunts very large & beautiful garden with the art group, so not much else doing today :o

WM on - hopefully DH will hang it out when it's finished

juliejim Well done on being debt free.
    Toots hope your home soon.

I've been busy over the last few days, DD went to see her school on thursday and is thrilled. They asked if she wanted to go on a school trip for 3 days with her soon to be class. So she's heading away on monday and won't be back to wednesday. (she has her suitcase packed already and a list of sweets for me to get her). :rotfl:Then the following week she is to go up a few days. She's so happy and it was lovely to see her playing in the playground with everyone and really enjoying herself.

Boys will now be getting the school bus so there happy too and it means no more school runs. :D

Yesterday was spent on the phone and a BBQ in the evening, house is now a complete tip. :o Plan is to get as much done today as possible and hopefully get all the washing done. We're away all day tomorrow so won't get anything done then.

    To be done now
    get wm back on
    empty dw and reload
    strip all beds
find boys school uniform and summer jackets
    clear all worktops in kitchen
    bring up all dirty washing
    bring in clothes off line
get kids fed, dressed and throw them outside
    put rubbish out
fold all clean clothes and put away
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Can I just say I had an infection and was given penicillin, told to go back in 3 days if nothing had changed...I didn't want to bother anyone so left it a bit longer, I ended up being taken to A&E being violently sick with a raging headache and really poorly. The infection ended up in my bloodstream, systemically infected, or something similar? I was in hospital 48 hours on IV antiobiotics, God knows how many pills (including one they kept regularly putting up my bottom!) and when I was discharged I was sent home with an enormous bag of antibiotics which ended up being 12 pills per day over 6 seperate doses for 14 days. I was really low for weeks afterwards (one of the reasons I'm needing to fly lol, my laziness is the other!)

So I strongly urge you to listen to your doctor, those first 12 hours I was so poorly I barely knew what was going on.

Hmm - this is kind of what happened .
I went back to the docs yesterday afternoon and he wanted me to be seen immediately by an ENT specialist. Our local hosp doesn't have one of those, so he made arrangements for me to go to another hospital 25 miles away. Turned up at A&E there and had to wait ages. Was sent to the ward and allocated a bed  ENT man saw me and said I had 2 choices - be admitted and on an IV for 24 hours, or go home and rest and carry on with my tablets. Fortunately I wasn't dehydrated which is why he gave me an option. I had to promise to go straight back if I wasn't getting any better, and I have the direct line number for the ward. I'm taking painkillers every 2 hours too.
    Diagnosis -quinsy.

I have written a shopping list and DH is going to Mr T. My plan is to sit in the garden under the umbrella with a book and maybe cuddle a cat or 3 :p
Have a lovely Saturday everyone :D

    Morning all

Had a serious case of the CBAs yesterday. Think it was a case of tired, sore back and heat. Did manage to declutter the hall a lot. It's a bit of a dumping ground for coats/shoes/bags. Found my waterproof hooray! :j

Did washing, DW and managed to drag myself to the supermarket. Glad I did for two reasons - got 6 school skirts for 8p each and bumped into an ex work colleague/friend who I haven't seem for 3 or 4 months. :D

Have peeled and cored some apples and cooking them on the hob to make puree for baby DS. Gonna get some washing on and get DD to help me clean the fish tank. Open farm sunday tomorrow so prob won't get much done as will be out all day.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

    Morning all.

Been looking around online for something for the past hour and enjoying the peace and quiet of no child, no neighbours, or anything outside making a noise (except for the tweeting birds) :D Its a rare occurance in this house so whenever I get the chance to enjoy it I do :rotfl:

I'm off for a bath in a minute which will no doubt wake DD up, but X will be here about 10.30 to take her out anyways so she needs to get up :D I'm banning the TV this morning so she might actually manage to be ready on time.

I have two choices today, stay home and get the cleaning and maybe some gardening done, or run round and do some errands without DD. I'll be taking her school shoes shopping tomorrow anyway (and passing Mr S & Mr T in the process so she'll be dragged kicking and screaming into them :rotfl:) so I'm thinking a day at home cleaning is the better option. Then I can organise a home delivery from Mr As for Monday morning and then run any errands I don't get done tomorrow while DD is in school. I think thats the better idea. I must remember I need to take a fresh fruit salad into school on Tuesday, and I think I'll take some fruit kebabs as well ;)

No, I didn't get pooped on, but the sun's so strong that after just two minutes out there with no hat, I feel really squiffy.:(

I'm so glad it's not just me that's like that!!

I am wearing a pair of size 16 jeans! This time last year I could just about squeeze into a pair of size 22 jeans!

And - when I was out for my pre breakfast walk i got honked at by a passing white van man! Now that hasn't happened for about 25 years!
