I have a question, I need to get someone to countersign my passport photo for my new passport. I don't know that many people who have the "professional" jobs that are listed apart from all my prospective in-laws, but it says you can't use someone who is related by birth or marriage. They aren't yet but will be, can I use them? Anyone else that I could possibly ask doesn't really know me.
ETA I may not need the counter-signature as I am only making a change to my passport, can anyone help? It doesn't mention a counter-signature for that or renewals etc
ETA (again) It is fine, I do not need to have them counter-signed. For once a website is useful!
I signed for exOH's brother's partner - but told her I couldn't do her sons, because they have the same surname as me - and they are related to me by birth, though their mum isn't related to me by marriage, because she and the exBIL never married.
Kinda makes a mockery of the system, really...
I'm showered now. Trying to pluck up the energy to make the beds because they've been stripped. Too hot to iron, though;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

just popping in to say hello:wave: Have decluttered 20 hours [STRIKE]slave labour[/STRIKE] ahem...paid work at the coalface of the NHS in the last 2 days and feeling absolutely shattered. However little sis and her new hubby are spending the night with us tonight in my room of doom loft and we are away for a night camping tomorrow so I need to clear up the cesspit my delightful husband left me in the kitchen this morning, clear a path to the futon bed in the loft, have a general tidy and clean up and extract all the camping gear from the cupboard of doom ready to leave tomorrow morning. phew! better crack on then! - flylady lists are definitely on the back-burner today.
Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine!

Note to self - put hat on when going out to fill bird feeders.
No, I didn't get pooped on, but the sun's so strong that after just two minutes out there with no hat, I feel really squiffy.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Day 3 of 10 days. Penicillin V tabs 250mg. two to be taken four times a day.
I remembered what the doc said - it was that if I was no better, i might need an injection  to speed things up. Maybe i won't phone after all
Can I just say I had an infection and was given penicillin, told to go back in 3 days if nothing had changed...I didn't want to bother anyone so left it a bit longer, I ended up being taken to A&E being violently sick with a raging headache and really poorly. The infection ended up in my bloodstream, systemically infected, or something similar? I was in hospital 48 hours on IV antiobiotics, God knows how many pills (including one they kept regularly putting up my bottom!) and when I was discharged I was sent home with an enormous bag of antibiotics which ended up being 12 pills per day over 6 seperate doses for 14 days. I was really low for weeks afterwards (one of the reasons I'm needing to fly lol, my laziness is the other!)
So I strongly urge you to listen to your doctor, those first 12 hours I was so poorly I barely knew what was going on.
I'm steadily catching up again and really pleased with what I got done today, I think it will give me a jump-start into flying properly on monday
I had a lovely afternoon with my parents, who've just left, and before they arrived I managed:
[STRIKE]
[STRIKE]1) Shampoo living room carpet as I dropped a cup, washed the area and left a decidedly clean area right in the middle *sigh*

3) Mop kitchen, utility room, bathroom
4) S&S Bathroom, upstairs loo[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]5) Wash up

I also popped into town and got a rug, the one that I really wanted but couldn't afford was 50% off and only a couple of pounds more than the one I was going to make do with:D:D
