I have written a shopping list and DH is going to Mr T. My plan is to sit in the garden under the umbrella with a book and maybe cuddle a cat or 3
Have a lovely Saturday everyoneand it's not sunny here.
I'm seriously fed up now, as I'd started feeling better and am now worse. I haven't even managed to get out of bed yet today and am find ing both the lack fo exercise and the amount of work/housework/gardening that is slowly accumulating very stressful.
Think I might have another sleep after the effort of posting
Well done on the weight loss CY :T:T0 -
Back from the doctors - DD has had a painful tailbone for over a month now, he has recommended ibuprofen 3x a day and to go back in a month. I guess there's not much he can do but as it has gone on for a while I did think he might have recommended an xray.
Builder arrived early and has gone through some of the paperwork. Says we definitely need to get the council building inspector to come and have a look at the work that was done previously, so thats a big job on the list that will probably cost a lot of what we dont have. The smaller jobs he can do but having put the ladders up realised he will need his scaffolding which isnt available til at least next weekend. Good job he's an old friend and happy to be paid in tea.
DD is supposed to be tidying her room but has got as far as her laptop  and DS has done his room.
I must tackle some more of the list but in the mean time
hugs and feel better vibes to greenbee (I missed why you are unable to do much) I can understand your frustrations
Maxonian - hope you feel better soon too
Triker - sorry to hear hubs is still not good
Thats all I can remember for now
Back laterMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Kazm - it may be stating the obvious but have you checked how DD is sitting? I ended up sitting on mine for a while due to back problems and got into the habit of it, and it made it very tender. If she sits up straight it may help. It might also be worth here seeing someone for massage (sports massage not relaxing stuff!) if it might be postural. If you can't find anyone I'll ask my mother for the detaios of the person she sees, as I've been to her and she's very good.
I had a minor op 10 days ago which was less minor than planned, so I wasn't prepared for two weeks of doing nothing but lying around getting bored. Or feeling ill. Still... Two weeks is up on Tuesday, so I'll miraculously feel better then won't I?0 -

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Turns out it's warm, sunny and breezy outside, so I'm hoping to get dressed soon and get myself settled in the garden. I'd like to do some washing as it looks like a good drying day but I suspect that may be a little ambitious. I think I should probably schedule a shower for some point today though0
