Amazon delivery has arrived so I have trashy reading to sustain me for the weekend. I'm washed and dressed, have eaten a nectarine and sorted the washing - only three loads ATM, so I guess I'm not making much laundry although sheets will need doing when I've stripped the bed (plan to do that tomorrow as a friend is coming over and can help me remake it).

So I'm going to open the windows and air the bedroom (and the rest of the house), take the washing down, and then have q rest in the garden to prepare for the next round of frenzied activity!

I've got two loads of washing in from the line, all dried, just waiting for OH to put a plug on the iron...I'm ashamed to admit I've TD'd everything for the last 6 months and stole the plug for something *blush* but went and bought a washing line last week, so am getting on track. Third load in the WM then hoover up downstairs and S&S of kitchen, bathroom and upstairs loo.

HI, i often read but have never posted here before. I really need to get my house in order as i would like to sell soon so thought i could do with all the help i can get! I have very little motivation to do things around the house. I like to sit and plan what needs doing but then i just watch telly and/or surf and never actually do it.

    My plan for today is:

    1. HHC to tidy and clean lounge.
    2. HHC to tidy and clean dining room
    3. Start trying to remove tile paint in bathroom in preparation for revamp.

There is loads more but thought i should try to keep it reasonably realistic. Not sure what to do first though...

Everything is taking longer than planned today. One frog given a good chew, need to walk up the road later before I can swallow it (oh and wait for somebody else to complete their part of the task).

Going to start my next frog now whilst it is quiet.

Kazm - it may be stating the obvious but have you checked how DD is sitting? I ended up sitting on mine for a while due to back problems and got into the habit of it, and it made it very tender. If she sits up straight it may help. It might also be worth here seeing someone for massage (sports massage not relaxing stuff!) if it might be postural. If you can't find anyone I'll ask my mother for the detaios of the person she sees, as I've been to her and she's very good.

I had a minor op 10 days ago which was less minor than planned, so I wasn't prepared for two weeks of doing nothing but lying around getting bored. Or feeling ill. Still... Two weeks is up on Tuesday, so I'll miraculously feel better then won't I? :D
Thanks for the tips GB I hadnt thought of that. Sorry to hear the op wasnt as minor as expected but fingers crossed for Tuesday :rotfl:

Welcome ItchyFeet , just remember baby steps

Work is slow this morning, the suns gone in and I have lost motivation. I have sorted some work paperwork and realised I have a huge amount of reading to do before Wed/Thursdays working sessions and I dont see why I should do it in my own time and especially when i'm supposed to be on holiday. Although as I am only doing a lower grade position, the working sessions have allowed me to show I am capable of doing more than I currently am, and has been commented on by the Head of HR and other senior management. Mmm thoughts in progress on that one.

Still procrastinating as is DD in her room. I am going to tackle something NOW

COME ON ITCHY - If I have to so do you
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Beds stripped, WM on, DW emptied.

Frog started - front garden. DH been to get bits to repair front steps. Dusted LR for first time in OMG how long.
Toots list - Video's sorted to go out. Corner of doom cleared - there is a floor there. I'd been wondering.

Off to Summer Fete in the moment (grey and overcast after yesterdays scottish summer) Oz being entered in dog competition so has been brushed within an inch of his life. Will have to get the hoover out later.

    Have a good day all.
