You and others on this Board are a swearword better at this NSD lark than yours truly. Yet I am in the perfect location (sensitive as hell Lifestyle on poverty is swearword sensitive things at stake) to learn the ways of Financial Righteousness true to moi and my ways of doing the poverty thing which I wear as an Aristocrat!!!
(Orwell in one of his books shows us the social hierarchy of Tramps you get social rankings, the Aristos and underlings will post reference when I remember it Down and Out in Paris and London is book). Not added for snobbery etc hopefully to make a difference!)
Once more takes hat off to you undestimating yourself Muffin Man7 and general hats off to all who are swearword better than this than I am.

Thanks wbqms..... i think ...i'm not sure i understood everything you wrote but i think you were trying to say i should be happy with 5 nsd days well i would be if i had chose not to spend but when i get a nsd because i've not got anything too spend it feels like a bit of a cheat i've always had to make a small amount go a long way but lately it's getting harder with prices going up and everything i can't even see my 3rd son today it's his birthday too.
I actually like trying to make things go further but my 2 that are still at home are teenagers and just don't get it but they will eventually...

I find it shocking what is happening to you. The swearword Free Market and Wild Capitalism (Naomi Klein No Logo Shock Doctrine, Frances Fox Piven Regulation of the Poor for all you Mail Lovers and those waging war against the vulnerable courtesy of Murdoch et al who get away with billions in tax evasion have a lot to answer for in terms of forcing costs on common people). Hope things work out for you. Education is so important. Self Education plus Decent wonderful Teaching is a combi made in Heaven.
I know you can earn £25 per hour teaching. Poor sods like me have to pay £25per hour for one hour £50 for 2. Best wishes.:beer:#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

:hello:
Hi lovely NSD gang xxxCant believe how cold it is for June.
^^^^^ This !!!!!
Yesterday I got totally fed up with wearing blankets and dressing gowns 24/7 so I turned on my plug in radiator  Must admit it was lovely to come in from Corby to a warmish house.
Yesterday wasn't an NSD as I went to see friends and had to get some petrol so got some on way home (in midst of being lost so was panicking LOL)........How wrong can you go with. turn left then left again then right at the roundabout? The answer is very :rotfl:especially if you add a road with a tree down across it and have to divert.....not that I noticed diverting as I think I was well lost before thatbut I did discover some lovely villages and a B road to Market Harborough where I know my way back from, not that I'd be able to find it again as I was lost :rotfl:It was much nicer than the way over though, raining and A43 and my back wiper not working and lorries splashing up spray as they went past but it was worth it when I got there
Today though I am back on track with number 8 :j
Mind you I am going to have to put heaters on in the kitchen and bathroom for a while so will be needing more electric but will have an excuse to be warm(watch a heatwave start now LOL). Chappie came and looked at the damp, apparantly it has been caused by a combination of my toilet overflow dripping for years (so much it has soaked down a brick wall which is what damaged the electrics ) and an inlet for the washing machine which has also apparantly been leaking for time. He did think that it may have damaged the joins on my flat roof but he checked all that and it hadn't but you can see it all on the wall outside so must have been like it forever  he did say that the mold could have just come up as the weather got warmer which is why I hadn't seen it before. So he has adjusted the ballcock in the loo so it doesn't overflow and tightened the thingy where the inlet was dripping and shown me how to do it. I was nearlly in tears of relief when he said it just needed drying out now and that no expensive stuff was needed.
Major decision never to skimp on heat again even if it is expensive !!
So much to catch up on over the weekend:
Jinty- hope you enjoy your week off
Keiss- sorry you are sad with all the changes but hope it's the start of exciting things to come
Fedupandskint- it really helps me not taking money out with me
BDINI- I hope your foot is better soon :grouphug:
Little_Miss- @ t'nterweb, I hope it gets sorted soon.
Butti- Good Luck with the job apps
WB katholics
BMF- Glad you enjoyed the Grand Prix- was it the result you wanted?
Muddlemess- I don't think it matters when you start, the whole thing of being more aware of spending really helps. I also find it helps me to go from start of the month as I get paid on 25th and most dd's etc come out on 1st so it has really helped me focus on that week between payday and debt day and curb my spending
Muffin- As people have said people on this thread are always there for you, it has really helped me with some horrid times and people are fantastic with ideas and advice too. I know what you mean about NSDs often being because there is no money to spend but that also makes it into a positive for me and really helps with the days I have got some cash as it makes me aware of what I need to do with it. Yesterday was an example, because I hadn't been nipping to the shop throughout the month I had £10 that I could use for petrol when I needed it instead of 'carding' it as I was skint. I think the man in the garage was a bit taken aback with the little cashbag of £s and 50ps that I had taken out with me though LOL.
The house is in the process of 'getting there' the maintainence man was probably mortified by the fact someone can actually live in it but I am happier with the way it's going. I have also taken a tip from the Flylady thread (Although most of that thread scares me!! How do people do that all the time:eek:) and will try the 'dot to dot' of a corner a day and try to keep on top of daily stuff.
Thanks to everyone running the thread and helping :grouphug:
And Well done all getting NSDs :T:T
Back later
