Hello all, well the NSD streak was well and truly broken on Sunday with a supermarket trip and the car was also very hungry.
Today was looking very wobbly - had lunch but we were decanted to a meeting area while our office was being shuffled around and spent several hours in close proximity to a *bucks machine.
Luckily, I've been saving a "get the 10th free" card in my drawer for just such an occasion so that saved me!
Had to pop to chemist at lunchtime to collect 3 prescription items - but they are now free so someone must've been smiling down on my today!
So, No 8 today!
Still a couple of pages to catch up on from the weekend (loads between Sun & now) - great to see the thread going from strength to strength and new people joining all the time!:DGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!0 -

Muffin Man~Why might you loose your house?
My DS is just living in a bubble & sometimes doesent think of other people.
I do struggle sometimes because of my disability & he just leaves a stream of chaos in his wake.
Today I am just done in & coping less well.
Sorry for the rant!
beanielou no need to be sorry you mention a disability may i ask what sort of disability. and does your son understand you need more help than someone without a disability
my youngest son has learning difficulties but is getting there bit by bit he's the one who was panicking when i cut the cable and it went BANG heloves me and i love him but we don't always agree we clash like tonight he wants b ds ey burgers i've said no theres 10 iceld ones in freezer only the box is different why do i bother he's supposed to get his own food but i end up having to get it and i don't eat meat so it's not as if it will get used by me i've tried having less in so they will be hungry and eat what evers in it works some days
re loosing house it's council and it is too cluttered :eek:pity they didn't agree we needed a bigger house when i had 7 children at home and the youngest didn't have a bed till she was 5 no room to put one i had 4 boys in 1 room eldest in box (room 6ft x4ft it ) and the two little girls were downstairs one on floor on lots of quilt bit like sleepovers every night and titch was on settee but we we not overcrowded  now it's just me lad and titch lads got box room so he stays with his gf most night and their little girl at hers they are trying to get a place
the house just has too much stuff in it and i've just been told i've got depression which is why i've not been able to cope with everything i'm on tabs doc increased dose two weeks ago and i got to go back this week i get so tired and out of breath so can't sort things for long without a rest
sorry didn't mean to ramble today one of those bad days2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -
Evening all! Just clocking in to say hello.
Hugs to Beanie and MM7 - you both sound like you're having a carp time :grouphug:
Kath - great news about the leaks...well not actually that there were leaks but that it wasn't anything more serious.
Posting - hope you had a lovely holiday - great to have you back x
Nargle - watch out that Igor doesn't get hold of those moths when you let them out, I think I saw him wathcing the latest Gordon Ramsey series and getting a few tips for what he might do with insects
Well not a NSD for me today - had my hair done after work (rescheduled from Sat) and I must say it looks lovelybut did mean I had to open the purse briefly. According to my budget that means I have £8.97 left until the end of next week, and £5 of that is for my eyebrows on Fri, so £3.97 to last me....could be a bumper crop of NSD though (silver lining and all that.....:p)

Muffin Man 7, glad you are seeing your doc for depression. You need to take it one day at a time at the moment to build your strength up. Do you get help from any-one? I mean practical help with the kids and the house, that kind of thing. If your youngest has disabilities, you should be entitled to help. If you feel up to it, maybe mention it to your doctor and see if he/she can refer you to some-one. Take care of yourself.
Pipped to the post for my NSD today. £1 parking for a dental check up, of all things! On the plus side, I didn't need anything else doing. And I gave my parking ticket to some-one else as I was leaving, so hopefully they were secretly planning (and got) an NSD too!
Anyway, since it was lost, I thought I might as well let it go down in a blaze of glory and finally bought my ticket to the Wickerman festival. Yay! :j
Spoony I'm ok, thank you. Had a couple of blips but working hard at being positive and trying to do less stuff!!! Say hello to all the trollbusters for me. I miss them. When I eventuall see the back of the postgrad, I'll hopefully be a lot less stressed! Good morning all!
Today wont be a NSD as I've decided to treat myself to a "bought" sandwich today! That was a big decision let me tell you! I feel quite naughty doing that!:rotfl:
Have a lovely day everyone!:)
Good for you, jinty, hope you enjoyed it. I treat myself to a "bought" sandwich once a week when I do the Tatco run, it's my reward for not killing anyone in there:D. Feels good because I don't do it every day which I used to do in the bad old days.:ohotspur_pam wrote: »Forgive me, but i read that as Extreme Coupling!!!!:rotfl:. Probably best not to go there :D:rotfl:.
I almost wish it was now, hotspur_pam:rotfl::rotfl:Cant believe how cold it is for June.DS is on a wee roll and passed his taek won do grading yesterday~well done that boy again! The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Sorry for the rant!
Maybe DS needs to come back to the chaos he left behind rather than you tidying up after him (if, indeed, that's what you do?)
