Well done to everyone with all those NSDs rolling in, looks like a bumper crop this month

SF - hope you're ok xx we're all here if you need some support, a hug, or just a dose of good ole fashioned sillyness to cheer you up xx

Well I am declaring NSD #8 today :j:j this having no money lark (well about £3 spare until next week excl bills and petrol) seems to really help the NSD tally :rotfl:still on the upside, my R&M brush should arrive at B**ts tomorrow so I can go and collect that (already paid for) so it will be a bit like shopping but without the spending (oohhh errrr...that sounds a bit like shoplifting too :o whoops! :rotfl::rotfl:)

Looks like summer has reutrned here - been lovely warm and sunny today, apologies where it still seems to be winter, I'll send some of the sun your way x Right...must check dinner...

Thanks you two :) it's just the job situation, or lack of, is getting me down somewhat. I'm tired today, which never helps either :p:o

Flying by as I run out the door to say NSD 10. Spent .50p on parking but it was for a work appointment so I can claim it back.

Sorry I've had no time to catch up. Take a wee break, have a break from too much chatting and have a cuppa and cake so I have a chance to catch up when I get back. ;):D

    Take care all. :)

Big hugs beanie, muffinman & SF, sounds like you're all having a bad time, but hang in there, things will get better.

Flying visit to report number 6, had an urge to buy something today, anything would have done, but totally ignored it & feel so much better for it now.

This is going to sound mad, but finishing work early & living so close (i finish at 4 & am home at 10 past) doesn't seem to be good for me. I feel a bit adrift alot of the time as it's too early to settle in for the evening, there's currently no DIY in progress to distract me & i think that's where the urge to go shopping comes in, just to be out & about... i have to find something more constructive to do than an afternoon nap, all suggestions gratefully received!! (unless it involves Hubert or Igor, Nargle take note :rotfl::rotfl:)

Who, me? 'Ere, missus, stop casting nasturtiums!

However, you are looking for suggestions - how about a bit of major decluttering and (late) spring cleaning?
Mucking out the food cupboards, getting rid of stuff that's past it, doing some serious meal-planning with what's left?
Getting out into the garden and planting something edible?
Emptying your wardrobe, sorting out the winter clothes and putting them away, then arranging all your summer gear into different colours in the wardrobe (yes, I know, very OCD and all that, but quite satisfying)
Or simply lying on the sofa and watching afternoon telly - stuff like Coach Trip, Location x 3, Come Dine With Me, Countdown....or some really old film. Nowt wrong with a bit of self indulgence now and then.
