    Good Morning all:j,

Thanks to cw18, sillyblondie and wouldbequalitymoneysaver for the birthday wishes. My Birthday was actually on the 25th May, but as it was my 40th I decided to order a painting which I collected on Saturday. It was an extravagance:o, but you're only 40 once! I had an excellent birthday and drank wine pretty much the whole week!!
    Red:beer:

A belated Happy Birthday from me Red.

Sorry, I haven't been around much this weekend so didn't see your post re the extravagant spending but, you're right, you're only 40 once so go for it!!:T:T:T

It sounds as though you had a great birthday and celebrated being 40 in style!!

It might be a little late, but have some cake for a belated celebration!!:D:D

Also - kerri gt - what is the name of that type of polyfiller? We have a hole or two in need of filling, but no drill atm!

    Happy birthday, Red!

Re going grey - lots of people see their first grey hairs in their twenties, so it's not an old folks problem. If you like Lush stuff, they have their henna range (Les cacas) which takes a while to use (you have to mix it, slather it on and leave for at least an hour) but apparently the results are fantastic, and they say any bits of grey sparkle red in amongst the rest of the hair, like glowing highlights. Not tried it myself, but it sounds good. For the cheapskates amongst us ( and that includes me!) Home Bargains do a good range of stuff. They do Schwarzkopf permanent colours for only £1.99! I can recommend the blonde one as I have tried it myself. Most permanent colours need leaving on for about 20 - 30 minutes but you can get some that only need 10 minutes, though they cost a little more.

Had to buy DS a new calculator for school today so not a NSD but tomorrow I will be confined to work and once again the purse will be left behind, so another NSD should be on the cards.

Today is a NSD but tomorrow won't be as we have to pay for airport parking which I estimate will come in at around £70 !

    So that's 11 for me
Life is too short not to love what you do.
