no NSD yesterday, as I checked out my Qu!z basket at around 1am (after adding another couple of items to it
)
and not today either - had to go out for bread, and desperately need to order some food for the dog today otherwise it won't arrive before I run out (and he's on a special diet, so I really shouldn't use an alternative even for a couple of days to tide us over !!! While I was out I also picked up a kit for dying my own hair at home - not something I've ever done before, but have decided to give it a bash as it will save me an absolute fortune (and I have time before daughter's wedding at the end of September to get it sorted out if it all goes horribly wrong
)
back to work tomorrow, but I'm not as bothered about it as I thought I would be - mainly 'cos I got the place tidy enough this week to feel I could invite my chap over yesterday evening
Was a great evening with lots of chatting about all kinds of things and a bit of smooching on the couch - and the best bit is that he's still texting me today and a repeat has already been suggested for next Saturday evening :T Cheryl0 -
Ohhh Cheryl....I was going to rush out and buy a hat but when I got to the hat store there was a massive queue out the door and I'm sure I heard someone yelling 'Hubert don't eat that from indoors' - I'm assuming the blue Tardis the parking warden was also looking at might have been Spoonys?
:D
One tip I was told (as a teen mind you, so I never listened to it) was to rub some vaseline round the hair line and on the tips of your ears if you're doing a home dye. Don't get it in your hair but it helps prevent dye bleeding onto the hairline and dying your ears (as I have done many a-time in my 'pillar box red' phase) No idea if it actually works though

Well today I haven't left the Bfs parents house so today gets me to the target 10 today

Not long til payday. Yay!xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
thanks for the vaseline tip - think I actually saw some when I emptied out the family bathroom so I could start decorating it last weekend

and there's no need to rush out for a hat........ if I ever decide to [strike]make that mistake[/strike] wander down that path again, then I'm considering banning the things 'cos I don't like/won't wear them
Might make an exception for home-made ones though

Checked calender and i have 8 nsd to add to my total so i now have 17 nsd for june and 6 in a row from tues to today much better than i thought
CW if you do use the vaseline before you dye your hair make sure you dont put any on your hair as it will be a pain to dye i just use a little moisteriser or baby lotion to rub the dye off if it goes where i dont want it havent done mine since january not felt the need being in most of the time and can only manage it when i havent got an eczema flare up which happenes to be a problem as it stings like hell only did it the one time never again i'll stay looking old instead although i am glad i did it cos it was for my daughters wedding last june 26 a yr ago today
hope your new chap likes all this effort you are going to;)2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -
