Nargleblast wrote: »Re going grey - lots of people see their first grey hairs in their twenties, so it's not an old folks problem. If you like Lush stuff, they have their henna range (Les cacas) which takes a while to use (you have to mix it, slather it on and leave for at least an hour) but apparently the results are fantastic, and they say any bits of grey sparkle red in amongst the rest of the hair, like glowing highlights. Not tried it myself, but it sounds good. For the cheapskates amongst us ( and that includes me!) Home Bargains do a good range of stuff. They do Schwarzkopf permanent colours for only £1.99! I can recommend the blonde one as I have tried it myself. Most permanent colours need leaving on for about 20 - 30 minutes but you can get some that only need 10 minutes, though they cost a little more.
can't even walk past a Lush store without struggling to breath - hate in when they're actually in an enclosed shopping centre, as the smell seems to spread a lot furthernot too sure about red highlights either - have normally gone bronze/copper.
My DD gets the Schw@rkopf ones from HB, but I picked up a L'ore@l one from B'n'M (under £4) that comes with a highlighter brush. Much prefer my hair when it's done using foils and two colours to just one flat colour, so thought this could be a compromise.... just hope I get the hang of the highlights without dropping any clangersCheryl0 -

Just popped in to record NSD 12 and 13. I'm so pleased to have beaten my target! I'll try for at least one more this month and think I'll up my game for July!
