And I think I can safely say hello to NSD number 7/8!

Going to get my petrol tomorrow to drive 300 miles () again on Thursday... as I am spending anyways, and -fingers crosssed - then Thursday will definitely be a NSD! I am attempting to slim down a shade and eat healthily so packing snacks instead of buying service station muck will be good for the wallet and the waistline! :rotfl:

Also - kerri gt - what is the name of that type of polyfiller? We have a hole or two in need of filling, but no drill atm!

Hi Lotti, the Polyfilla I have ordered is this one

    http://www.polycell.co.uk/products/polycell_plug_and_fix_polyfilla.jsp

It seems to be called 'Plug It' on most DIY websites. I've never used it before and found a site where it was £5.99 (free p&p) although I haven't heard of the site before so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they are reputable.

Cheryl - hope the home dye goes ok - am sure it will. i think your chap has been pretty brave being so honest, i can't imagine it was easy as its a bit of a 'dammed if you do, dammed if you don't' scenario. its a bit akin to the 'does my bum look big in this' question....

SF - sounds like you need a hug :grouphug:

OH is still unwell, better than he was but has a docs appt tomorrow so hopefully he can get this infection (assuming that's what it is) shifted. To boot I now seem to have a bad throat which I am blaming him for atm - dispersable aspirin for me. Had a carp night sleep between us last night so both tired tonight.

No NSD for me today (Spoony I can see you winding up with those kippers...but I have met my target already :A) but it was a VERy essential spend of 76p on some deoderant (1/2 price at Mr S) as I found mine had run out this morning and had to steal some of OH - no deo is not a good thing in this weather or I'd smell like the Tardis after Hubert got locked in :eek:

Thurs will prob be spendy due to me hopfully picking up some more bark, so trying to get another couple before then....

which is the reason I was prepared to give it some thought, and then decided 'what the heck' (but still only 'cos I can also see I might have done this sooner if I'd found the courage to do it myself years ago)

anyone who could have seen him squirming while he was telling me would know he didn't find it easy, and I actually felt sorry that he felt he was backed into a corner such that he found himself needing to put himself through that :o

    Number 16 for me!

I don't think I'll make it to my target of 21 but I'm really pleased with what I've achieved this month and I'm going to join again next month!

    Wow

I so impressed with all of you who have managed to do so well this month. I started off well but am in to declare

    6/10

Poor planning on my part - if I take lunches in to work even three days a week, I can achieve the goal but I don't seem to manage it!

My month starts on payday (today) so will sign up for the July challenge - I am determined to get to 10 NSDs. I'm also on a challenge to not use my cards this month so it could be quite interesting!

Well done to all of you!

I think I have been nicely hijacked into doing NSD no9 No NSD Today as small organic box. I am trying to work out what is in Fridge Freezer (thankfully defrosted) and Storecupoards so I can work out a doable diet and minimise spending.
