Just about to finish 'The Single Girls To Do List' - lightweight chick lit - then I have an Audrey Hepburn biography :)

    Today I have
    • cleaned the bathroom
    • cleaned and tidied the hallway
    • done 2 loads of washing
    • iced my cup cakes and taken some to my Mum's
    • bought a new bath mat!
    • been for a sunbed
    • tidied my car
    • bit of goddessing!
    • kept yesterday's tidy rooms tidy!
    • had some down time with my book :)
I am really pleased that I have not wasted the weekend, and am determined to keep the tidy rooms tidy! I need to do my bedroom and ensuite and then sort all my clothes in the spare room! Jobs for next weekend - maybe :p

Am expecting work to be busy from tomorrow, everybody will be back after the quieter Summer (!) months and traffic will be back to being a nightmare with the schools going back  Plan to be in early with a cheerful and positive head on - have even decided what to wear and ironed it!

So far so good with my new positive attitude :D

I would suggest that you go & check out the kindle in real life before you buy. I had a look at one in pc world recently & was very surprised at how small the screen was & therefore how few words appear as opposed to having 2 pages of a book to read before flicking over to the next 2.

I read quickly so it would drive me mad, Just personal preference though :)

You can change the font size so have as many words showing as you like. The e-ink screen is amazing - I was thinking of getting an iPad-alike but they would be much harder to use in different light and worse on the eyes.

(Friend kindly allowed me to try out hers... methinks Amazon vouchers will be top of Christmas wish list  )
