I rationalized that my new shoes shouldn't be punished just because I can't budget

Not been around as I am feeling a fraud even being on here
My finances are not under control and I am embarrased to read about all the amazing people who achieve what they set out to do
I never achieve anything, I am a sad and overweight middles aged woman in loads of debt
I may start a new diary if I ever feel that I have anything positive to say
Thanks to all for your support, you are amazing people :A
Hey what's all this about
The finances might not be under control but you're aware of the problem rather than pretending it doesn't exist. That's not so bad and you have cleared loads of debt already. Remember this time of year the shops are more tempting than usual with Christmas displays plus things like heating and petrol are more expensive than ever so of course it's not easy to keep on top of things.
Print out Lulas' lovely post and re-read it a lot, and come back to us :kisses:Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Shoesy you have done great so far, I am pretty sure everyone on here goes through rough patches, they just dont necessarily write about it.
I know I've been feeling a bit miserable lately which is why I havent updated my diary as much...
From what I can see you have significantly reduced your debt while still having a life and treating yourself. Yes maybe you could have paid off a lot more by now if you'd have shut yourself in the house and lived off roadkill but is that what you really want?
This diary is for the highs and lows, good and bad, no-one is perfect. You come across as a lovely person full of encouragement for the rest of us on here. Come back, refocus make a plan and hopefully we'll be able to help you too xxx0 -
Hun, I really hope you are reading all these lovely posts!
I think you are fantastic, you were so lovely to me when we first "found" each other on here, I was a crazy loony bird about my ex and struggling to be single/live alone for first time and you were so supportive to me!
You have halfed your debt and like everyone else says you don't have to not have a life to do it, I am tempted to get a shiney new car right now and have other woes, I like to rant in my diary you know that so no-ones life is perfect even if they pretend, esp if they are on this forum in the first place!
I hope you come back soon hun, you're well loved here!:grouphug:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
