    If you want the Renault just make sure you don't take passengers with you or you may end up with an unexpected emergency stop situation if Watchdog is to be believed...

    I honestly don't know why you're doing this though -- just take the small hit on the Kia for pity's sake.

    Anyway this argument is completely academic -- you buy an old car on condition not make or model; if the right car is a Proton you buy the Proton and badge be damned.

    The Scenic was listed among other Citroens, Renaults and Peugeots as having brake pedals that can be operated from the passenger footwell.

    The original report pointed the finger at the Citroen C3 Picasso but the following week they listed a bunch of other cars -- all French for some reason.

    That said, I've known about this problem with some French cars for a very long time -- the Saxo had the same problem. The French manufacturers don't seem to care.

    So from your previous post... what kind of Penalty would you incur if you went over the mileage of the PCP on the Kia?
