Competition board

I started this thread with sugestions to HELP foxy and have had nothing but praise for her all through, this board is called 'This Site: Questions & suggestions', so I thought this was where I should suggest something. another poster has seemed to have a go but I didn't.

Now I've got a board guide calling me 'ungreatful', 'complaining' and telling me 'if I don't like the site rules tough' and another guide is then agreeing with him
I'm incredibly hurt by this, are all new members treated in this way? by board guides???

I think that volunteers or not if a guide is going to make comments like this about other users they should at least read threads properly.

I think Foxy does a brilliant job on the competition board and i don't see anything wrong with jennyjo's original post.

I agreed with Jenny's post yesterday and having had a look this morning I think Foxy has done a good job in now posting dates against them and a bit of description within the post. Makes for much easier navigation of the Comp Board, thanks

cheers at the end of the day comps was started from scratch as little as about three weeks agoi tried summat and just ended up changing the methodology as it didnt work as they say you dont know till you try. will explain more later as bin up all night regigging everything and im probably gonna still there till the early hours to finish it, so eveyone will just have to let me get on with it all will become clear eventually as to be honest i have too much to do to explain at the moment

I never said that you were ungreatful etc. In fact I don't remember saying your name at all!

right ive been messing about with the board for 18 hrs now without much break can i just say in my defence this board has only existed a couple of weeks or so and it was more building a foundation whilst i set it up rather than it be empty. as i have posted you will see that i have put links to each invididual thread within one thread. well as well as seperating them into individual posts if you look i suppose you could call it a quick way to check if more have been added to reg sites as it is in a complete list. so from that angle i dont think that too bad for a newish board really, plus in the mean time while i am doing this people can go further back in the threads if they want so every angle covered so please can everyone just leaved it now

Just to say Foxy's doing a great job on the board. I am happy to see it working so well. The nature of any new board is it needs time to grow and people need to work out how best to use it and to post.

I do think closing dates would be great, as would a little more description of the competition inside the posts - rather than just links. So i'd love to encourage it, but I'm sure we'll get there in time

Cheers Martin for the vote of confidence. i will eventually put more descriptions inside the board im just at the moment trying to seperate them then hopefully (as i only only speak for myself) when the basics are built are built up it will give me more time to practice my naff typing lol.:)
