You could try open-dns plus something like K9 web protection. Both could be used alongside your current parental controls.

If you are going to use OpenDNS, first test it with youtube - if it messes up the streaming of videos, then it'll make general browsing miserable for everyone.

In Trend have you set up parental controls to block certain users from accessing stuff? If you open up Internet and Firewall -> Go to Parental Controls bit -> Activiate Parental Controls -> Website Filter Strength, set it to Teen and it blocks violence !!!!!! etc.

The only problem is your son could just use proxy websites that would allow him to access it making most software and attempts to block irrelevant. The best thing to do is have the pc in a very public place imo.

Has he also got a mobile? With internet access....

Does he visit friends who have computers????

Are the school useless and allow unsupervised access of pcs??

Does he know whatever you install you can get round it by booting from your own OS on a memory stick or cd?

    etc
    etc
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

    Another vote for K9 here.
There is always around things but with a box of tissues in one hand it will take the little tyke a while.

If it is any consolation, he sounds like a normal 14yr old so please don;t consider him sick or ill.

Next time he slopes off to his bedroom, I'd just hand him a box of tissues. :D Its just normal growing up. By nasty I can only assume you mean full on graphic close ups of "hide the sausage" instead of the soft stuff of the 70's. The time to worry is when its snuff videos, animal sex etc. As long as it is just sex, I'd not lose much sleep over it.

He'll get bored of it after a while.
