    Hi everyone
What a great thread - came across it at the weekend and would like to be included. Unfortunately, I'm not very strong willed but perhaps this might help me.

Last year I was at an all time high weight 196lbs :eek:. I did manage to lose 14lbs over the course of the Summer and Autumn as I had the incentive of my son's wedding this year to work towards and hoped to lose at least another 21lbs. Unfortunately, they split up and as such I lost my momentum.

Anyhow, I would like to be included. Currently weight 185lbs and since Sunday have been using the calorie counter site to keep track. Don't expect to lose 7lbs by end of June but any loss would help :D:D

Welcome to the gang maggiej, sorry to hear about your son (but better splitting up before the wedding than after I guess :()
1lb lost for me, can't believe I'm losing as I'm doing no exercise and been to Pizza Hut this week and also ate a large pizza to myself on Friday night:o. I so want to get under 10 st.

Hmm the Pizza diet, you should market it and make millions :rotfl:

Well done everyone, and welcome to the newbies! :)

OK, I have done the dreaded WI - 140.2lbs, so 1lb gained but not as bad as I thought considering. I am now firmly back to concentrating on my weight, and not my emotional problems! Count me back in.. . :)

Sorry to hear that things are still bad for you but 1 pound on is not the end of the world :D

    1lb lost this week.
Managed to get my butt down the gym 3 times this week. Just need to switch back to fruit instead of biscuits when snacking at work and think i'll be ok, but easier said than done.

Catflea, don't worry about it, tomorrow is a new week, just put it all behind you and start afresh.
Well I did my weekly WI before and came out at 11st 13lb!. Thats 5lb off in the last week. I'm dead chuffed as I fell off the wagon a few times with multiple cakes and a whole bottle of wine on Wed night! :o I just hope it isn't beginners luck, will try to stick at it this week again.

    Hi all,

Just catching up with all your posts for the week, A day late in my weigh-in as I was up to my eyes in jelly, cake :bdaycake:and balloons, yesterday for son's first birthday party. We had a great day even though the weather was dire. However the scales are not moving this week, even though I have stuck at it all week (party excluded) I have STS!!, Least its not a gain, (I did have to test all buffet items yesterday, for quality control purposes, of course!!).

We have had another family meal today as we have two more family birthdays this week. So now that they are out of the way (except for left over cake), I should be able to concentrate on my weight loss a bit easier.

I'm getting ready to go back to work after maternity leave, next saturday, so another incentive to lose a dress size is my uniform.

Hi all, sorry I am a bit slack at posting atm. I have been totally absorbed with relationship woes and not really caring what I eat, so dreading getting on the scales. I might actually WI tomorrow to see how bad things are. :(

Well done to those who have lost, hugs to the losers and STSers, and welcome back MarzipanFish!

jovi20, glad you enjoyed your day out, and never mind the 1lb gain, it's well worth it for a nice day out with friends. How are you keeping? xoxo

Sorry to hear about your relationship problems tara747, I hope you get them resolved and are happy with the outcome. (Don't worry about your minor blip this week, I am sure you will get back to it).
I'm not doing too bad after losing Dad, I think the fact I have been kept really busy has helped, although I do miss him terribly, as I used to pop in and see him most days, , but we are a close family so have helped each other through. Today being Father's Day, doesn't make it any easier though, but have tried to concentrate on the good times we had, and there are a lot of good memories.

Well done again to all you dropping the pounds, I'm jealous!!
