Tootles, that quilt is absolutely amazing. You should feel very proud of yourself. :T

Aussie, London is only a short flight away for me, and I am already planning to visit a couple of friends there in Feb/March, so I'd love to try and tie my visit in with yours.

    Happy Birthday onestep. :bdaycake:

Ok, I'm off to see Rudolph perform. Catch you all later.

    :T :T :T Congrats PP :T :T :T

Horrid morning, raining like there is no tomorrow, wind howling against the sat dish on the side of the house(we don't have sat TV ,the dish is still there)

Bedroom bathroom and landing cleaned already (big pat on the back) 5 minutes on here before I set about the sitting room hall and kitchen (again)

Nothing else planned for today. I wrapped the presents that need to go to various places yesterday and the ones that need posting are ready along with a couple of cards that need to go in the post.

I was playing with the printer last night and came up with some really nice designs for notelets and cards using publisher..... quite pleased with myself, something to keep me happy when there is nothing on TV during the holiday!!!!!

Thankfully the improvement in my health continues..... still not eating a vast amount, but managed a glass of white wine last night..........funny my weight does not seem to be moving although I am eating a lot less..........no more medication for me I will put up with the disturbed nights etc..... I slept ok last night, just roused a couple of times and went back to sleep, woke at 8.30am and thought it was still night it was so dark outside.............

Right I am off to have a :coffee: (tea)

    Have a good day..............

Thats a lot of jars of vegemite I have to buy. :D Oh that's right CM prefers marmite. :p

Bgn Rzl You will have to give me explicit instructions on how to get there nearer to the time. I hope we can all make it as I know things always have a tendency to crop up. Fingers crossed.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
It would be lovely if a whole lot of Oser's could make it as this will be a rare chance to meet Aussie Lass! Last one was great fun! Shall I bring Mr Catz again? ;)

Tootles - The quilt is beautiful!

Catowen - I love your new avatar! Florida disney? We hope to take dd there next year, she will be 23 but has never been and is as disney mad as me! :D

It is pouring down here so shopping has been postponed and I am drinking hot ribena instead of tea!

I'm only a train ride from London.... :D

And me - and me. :j I'd love to come if I can.

Happy Anniversary PP hope you have a lovely day.

Moggins, I can only echo what everyone else has said, your OH's comment was breathtakingly insensitive. :grouphug:

Didn't get as much done as I'd hoped this weekend, but that always seems to be the way.

Just about finished the pressie shopping, only meant to spend the morning at Milton Keynes but we didn't get home till 5.30:eek:.

Managed to finish all the decs and write about half of the cards but did no wrapping.

Made mince pies which DH has sampled and declared v good. I asked if they were as good as M & S (where he works) and he said yes:mad: . I told him that was the wrong answer and he then said better, a bit late methinks:rotfl:

Meeting tonight to attend but will take the afternoon off. Will try to clear the table which has become a dumping ground and finish the cards.
