OH that sounds fab. But don't make it the 6th. We arrive at Heathrow late that arv, then have to catch the National Express into Victoria. Then we'll get a cab to our accomodation. I think I"ll be suitably shattered that night.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Anyone want to take a guess at what time my dishwasher is being delivered today? Supposedly anytime between 8am & 6pm. We could have a sweepstake - bottle of stardrops for the winner :D :rotfl:

Oooh, I love a competition! If it were me, it would arrive at 5:59, after me sitting in all day :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I'll guess at 11:45.

Hello Again - This is a rare moment for me to use the PC at work!
The in-house system has gone down, for at least an hour, so instead of twiddling my thumbs, I thought I would say hello again. Ive offered to do other work, but nothing needs doing. Hurray for me!!

    Happy Birthday onestep

Dlb will fetch parcels later about 4ish - if thats ok. Many thanks again.

Right - going to get a drink then nip outside for a fag

    Have a great day all
    Love as usual

  • Hey everyone,

It's a miserable day here and I just felt so downtrodden trudging to work this morning, feeling sorry for myself! Only 4 days of work this week (Christmas party on Friday) and 4 days next week (finish up next Thursday night) so I'm counting down the hours! I think I'm more fed up because I can't afford things I really need such as a pair of winter boots (my flimsy shoes are really letting in the rain) and maternity bras (v. sore boobs for weeks and weeks now). However, nevermind!

I told my folks about the baby at the weekend after dithering about it for ages and I'm really pleased I did as they were delighted. It felt like the right time and explained my strange behaviour over the past few weeks. We had a lovely afternoon together talking baby and pregnancy stuff. They are still the only people who know and hopefully it'll stay that way until January as I know I can trust them.

Just wishing the time away at the moment for my pregnancy to be a bit further on and for it to be common knowledge - which is horrible because I LOVE Christmas! However, needs must and I am already looking forward to next Christmas with the new addition to our family and hopefully a wedding to plan!

Love to everyone - sorry I've not really caught up with the news.

    Valentine xxx
