Evening all, short but sweet tonight had a hecti day, hope everyone is okOne day I might be more organised...........

Happy Birthday Onestep!!
Paulie's Girl....I hope the procedure goes OK for you. You don't sound too happy about it, and I don't blame you...but you WILL over it...
Mrs A - big hug to you...I've been through what you're going through, physically I found it like swimming in treacle, and having a treacle brain too, so fully sympathsize. I hope you've been seeking some help to persuade these feelings to go away. There is a lot that can be done.
Tootles....yet another stunning quilt!! Have you ever considered approaching very posh shops like Harrods or Selfridges to sell them on your behalf? They would get the customers with big packets of cash to spend, and I'm sure they'd be delighted to have such an exclusive range for sale.
I've written my Christmas cards... Go me!! LOL I know, I'm useless!! OK I made a cake but between you and me it's a bit on the "yeuk" side of tasty, so will be popping to M&S one day soon. I will get my two [STRIKE]cat aerobic centres[/STRIKE] Christmas trees up later this week. Just as well I don't have children, they would never have heard of Christmas if it was up to me to organise it.
AussieLass...BargainRzl.....oooooo if Pink is going to go to London for a mini meet then so am I!!! I just need a firm date so that I can arrange accommodation and flights around it. I guess if I plan to stay for three nights and then depart London on that 2nd Sunday you mention I'd be pretty safe. I'll point Shez in the direction of this conversation, I'm sure she'll be keen to come along too. Catz - yes, please ensure Mr Crazy Catz comes along too - he was so funny at the meetlette in May!!
Moggins...I don't know how you resisted having a "Bobbit" moment. Sorry, not making light of your OH's insensitivity....but the urge to hurt him back must have been very strong. Good for you for NOT lowering yourself to his level. I hope he learns from you, once he's been enlightened as to how unnecessary and how undignified his remarks were.
That's all folks...really need to get some quality kip tonight, I didn't get much sleep last night at all.
Good night.

Just a quick note to ask for advice- my hair is what I like to think of as "silver".
DD aged 12 has just told me it is "white " and how about going blondish?
She was mortified when i looked upset but she may have a point.
Has anyone any good ideas as going to the hairdressers costs a fortune and most stuff you buy does not work on 90% grey!"This site is addictive!"

Oh dear DH & I slept in.
Woke up at 7.45am which is late as now we'll pay the price. It's much better to work in the cooler parts of the day. He's run off now after a quick brekky and I will pop in a load of washing etc before I saunter off.
Paulie Hope all goes well and see you after wednesday.
Bgn Rzl We leave on the train on Sunday 12th at midday. Saturday 11th might be a good option. I just looked in my diary. Yes, I"m free. For those who can't make it at that time we will be in the UK for around 6 - 12 months so I"d say another meet will come up during that time and we might be able to meet up then. I already have thermals Lucie
from last time. Enough of that sniggering.I'ts going to be a shock as Jan/Feb is our hottest month, so coming from 35+ heat & high humidity is going to be challenging at first.
Moggins Hope you found the time to confront your DH. You must have the patience of a saint. I would have ticked him off right there or attacked him in the car on the way home.
Hope you all get a good night's sleep as I did. Byeeeeee
Edited to say: The 12th is Monday. DOH. I have so many dates in my head. So we leave on Monday at midday. Whichever day Sat or Sun is fine with me. You got me confused as it's a Tuesday we arrive.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
