    Morning All,

I am desperate for OH's pay to go in tomorrow so I can start paying things again, my spreadsheet is itching for an update to it!

I have £2 in my purse to last till tomorrow which is fine as I don't need to buy anything, or so I thought. The coolant light went on in the car this morning. I think the last time this happened it was about £2 for a bottle of coolant so I am v chuffed I did not buy a can of diet irn bru this morning and instead filled my water bottle from the free fountain at work :)

I got 2 statements in last night from a creditor who only sends them out every 6 months. I was chuffed as on one I was correct to the penny with how much I had paid off and on the other, I had paid £130 extra, so I got to do a wee update to my spreadsheet without actually having done anything!

Hope everyone else is having a good day

Enjoy updating your spreadsheet....how funny is it that we now get excited about such things?! :p

    Hi Choc,

I never imagined I could get so excited about a spreadsheet (I use them all day everyday at work for goodness sake!) but I do. It is hugely satisfying watching the amount of debt come down every month.

    Happy Friday All,

I never managed on here yesterday as it was a mental and hectic day. But today is Friday and once again the sun is shining so I am happy!!

I just checked my account and my charges are not yet off (grrr, I wanted to colour them in on my spreadsheet as paid) and neither is my F&F payment (I am paying it off in 4 instalments). This happened last month and it turned out they were yet again using my old card details. So I will give them a wee buzz to make sure they take it, as otherwise it shows as me having defaulted on the arrangement and so they come after me for the full amount. It has crossed my mind to wonder if that's why they keep using my old card details :rotfl:

Anyway, hope everyone has a good Friday

    Morning All,

I'm having a bit of a bummer week this week. Today would have been my Dad's birthday if he was still here so I always find this day hard, actually more so as the years go by. So that's my excuse for being daft and forgetting to reply to a F&F offer thingy on time saying I wanted to do installments instead of the full whack in one go tomorrow. I could kick myself. I sent it anyway when I realised so fingers crossed they will be nice and accept it even though it is late. Otherwise tomorrow is payday and I will be overdrawn - not the best start to the month ever :)

Other than that my coin jars are coming along nicely, despite my OH and the 4 year old being caught raiding them over the weekend for sweeties :rotfl:

Tonight I am going to have a lovely evening with my family and my OH. Each year on Dad's birthday we go to his favourite restaurant and have a meal just as we would have done if he was with us. It's a happy time, no tears and snotters, just loads of laughter and happy memories. This year 2 of my Mum's friends gave her a £60 voucher for her birthday for this restaurant so that she could use it for his meal, so mum has said it's her treat and none of us are to chip in, which is v kind of her. So it will be a lovely evening and will cost us nothing and my mum very little, I hope.

Hope you all are having a good day

    Jules x
