    Hello,

No it hasn't yet. I have been on a work call since 9 (when they open) but when I finish it I will be calling, I was soooo hopeful it would have gone through today.

Will update when I get to talk to them.

    Hello,

Just spoke to them and paid by card! They hadn't set up the DD yet (apparently it was on my file to set one up but they hadn't!).So they set it up while I was on the phone for November and the card payment went through fine just now for my October payment.

And breathe!! I can relax now, my DMP is back on an even keel :)

    Hello All,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I am having a wee chuckle to myself here as after an exceptionally busy morning, I took a wee break there to grab something for lunch and checked my text messages and personal emails. I had a text message and an email from my DMC telling me I hadn't paid and if I needed help and support to work out how to cope with not being able to pay, to call them. I called them immediately just to check that all was well with my payment and they confirmed it had gone through when I called them, but it was an automatic thing to receive a text and an email if the payment had gone through later than the usual payment date (which in this case, of course, it had).

I told them the reason I was amused was I did not receive the text and the email the month I actually didn't pay, but I got them this month when I did pay :rotfl:

Aah well, at least I can laugh about this whole thing now :)

You must have been giggling away to yourself after the call, seems their systems are a little behind. At least it is all sorted and you are back on track now x

    Hi Choc,

I am good today, I am waiting in for the guys to come and finish the last part of our new tv/broadband/phone installation which OH arranged while I was away. It is saving us a whopping £50 per month so I am happy to stay in as many days as it takes to get it sorted :)

Also, the rest of the family are now looking into getting the same deal as us, so we have already secured a £50 voucher for referring one of them (they get their's installed next week) so I am hoping more of them change supplier as well.

I have continued to have a wee chuckle all week as my DMC have gone into overdrive with text messages all week - some telling me my payment has gone through (never got one of those before!), others telling me it is about to go through (got that after the one saying it was through hehe), and finally others saying 'it's good to talk so give us a call if anything is worrying you'. I can only assume their SMS has gone a wee bit haywire, but it's unintentional entertainment for me :)

Anyway, back to working away and waiting on this to be installed. In a schoolgirl error, I didn't realise I had no diet irn bru in the house before 8am and now I am trapped in here without my favourite drink, a calamity, I only hope they get here soon before the withdrawal symptoms kick in :)

Hope you're having a good day,

OH NO!!!!! how are you going to cope!?! :rotfl: My OH doesn't get Irn Bru....he is perplexed at the drink and it's taste!! I have loved it since I was little, reminds me of visiting my Nana in Newcastle and getting chips from the chip shop then sitting by the river :)

My drink at the moment is diet coke - can't get enough of it! Think that combined with chocolate gives me a bad addiction!!!! Wonder if I can wean myself off of it....slowly!

Emergency over! They've been and the installation is done and I am sipping a cold diet irn bru as I type! I don't think I could ever wean myself off this drink, I could give up alcohol no problem, but not this!

Your OH might like the diet stuff better, the ordinary stuff burns a bit I think, though it's fine in an emergency type situation :)

On other note, I just got an email there telling me I haven't paid my DMC this month. I have composed a strongly worded email back :rotfl:
