Oh my god, two weeks tomorrow and some of us will be having a very hectic morning. I'm nervous already. Just had a quick update read of this thread as I've been off it for a while (extremely busy with wedding things) and thought I'd give my update. It sounds as though you are all more or less ready. I have been so organised up until the last month where things are very last min. We had our ore wedding photos last week which was very awkward to begin with but glad we did it so we know what to expect on the day. We have our meeting with church and venue this sunday(far too late in my opinion lol) my bridesmaid dresses aren't completely made yet and one hasn't even gone for a fitting and last I heard she couldn't get in it Aaaaarg!! I'm staying out too that one! I did my table plan and name cards two weeks ago and My eldest brother has said he can't come since and one of our friends so we have asked another couple we wanted originally but didn't have space for, they have accepted. Which means the table plans need re doing. I'm planning on doing these next Sunday along with order of services. My dress is eventually perfect and I have decided on a hair style but not convinced it will look how I want it to on the day. I've come to the conclusion that as long as I turn up calm and my htb does it will be ok.
Sorry for the long post!! Needed to catch up hehe!

    1000% agree with this.

We have 3 weeks left to go and its amazing how other people at my wedding are fretting about the silliest of things:

We are having the party down on the beach - what if it rains???? errr we go inside..

How will we get from the hotel tot he party?????? walk? it's 500 meters!

What do you mean you're going out for lunch with friends, you get married at 4!!! - it takes me half an hour normally to get ready, I'm allowing 1.5hrs - and I NEED LUNCH!

And the best one yet - You're far too laid back, I hope it hits you the week before.......... What hits me? :rotfl::rotfl:

Haha. Yep I've had the old 'what if it rains' I can't help the weather. Ideally I'd love it to be sunny but it won't spoil my day if it isn't. We are in England after all!

The weather is the obvious British obsession - we're getting asked about it as well. Easy, there's plenty of indoor space, there's plenty of outdoor space choose whichever you wish to be in.
Part of our day will be outdoors, if its raining we get wet, our guests are welcome to stay indoors if they wish.

It's been one of those weeks where if it can go wrong it has, culminating in destroying a set of wedding rings yesterday - we each have a pair of rings (one for the legal bit, one for the handfasting) these had to be drilled so they could be joined together. Suffice to say this went seriously wrong and we now have to rethink what we're doing about rings. Still we have 5 weeks today to solve it. (and the myriad of other details that keep demanding attention - I seem to be spending more time pointing out that that question was answered 10 months ago than anything else at the moment)
Still its not like I have other things to do, like the catering .. and breathe.
Is it wrong to be looking forward to the 22nd June when its all over?

I'm worrying about the weather in Italy never mind at home! We will be up in the mountains and there is a high chance that it will rain, and ruin my thoughts of a fun mode of transport and various other things during the day! Keeping the fingers crossed!

I've got my tug of War rope!

I spotted it in the corner of the gym, asked, and I can borrow it.

Bride v groom and friends it is then!

    Haha brilliant idea!

I've got everything paid now (apart from photographer but that will happen when we're there), got my bouquet mostly done and ready to put together, BF bouquet made (we have decided she will be a proper BM now) and ready to take this week to give to her when we meet so she can transport it, just got 2 buttonholes to make and I think it's all sorted after we sort her out with a dress on Friday! 33 days to go and starting to gt excited now rather than stressing!
