I'm now going to work today and tomorrow, just to try and get the days to go quicker. No point in wasted holidays.

    How is everyone else?
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

Herself is aiming to finish her dress this weekend. I'll be icing the fruit sections of the cake tomorrow (work is really quiet so I've an extra long weekend) Should finish the allergy free baking this weekend.
Can't believe that we're down to two weeks and I'm still chasing people for things that were supposed to be sorted weeks ago.

Weather's looking good for Saturday, hope tomorrow doesn't drag too much and you have a wonderful day on Saturday.

I was doing fine this week until today when my friend told me she finally managed to get a 'make up artist' as they call them, who isn't going to be on holiday on my day. My make up is going to be 80 euros and the witnesses and bridesmaid are 30 euros each. I decided that I'd be quite happy to do my own but now they've all decided to pay for mine as a present which I don't want! This started the stress levels rising.
Tonight, my dad phoned me out of the blue, I haven't spoken to him for two months due to his reaction over some things as I was being stubborn, I found it hard to even speak.
And....with two weeks to go we still don't have any music. I can't even manage more than 5 minutes with the other half any night this week to pin him down and discuss it. Roll on the day we jet off until we actually manage some quality time!

How's the nerves 74jax? Manage to work ok today?

I don't have any nerves just so blooming excited. I wish Saturday would hurry up. I just want to be married now.

Work was fine and did pass the time, better than sitting at home clockwatching. Tomorrow at work they are doing a 'lunch' for me so I'm really looking forward to that.

Family are en-route and I can't wait to see everyone.

I'm just sitting at work clock watching now! In my last job I used to count shirts, now I'm counting tanks as there's less of them to go but they still finish on the same day! And I managed to make a deal today with next Fridays driver that he will be REALLY early for me so that I can make sure I'm away super sharp! Hehe. He better not back down on that one as I'm going in early tomorrow as a favour for him!

I'm getting married twice, of sorts!!!

OH has been keeping secrets from me.....he announced last night under a wee bit of duress that on the day we have organised photos with the kids once we are home (they're not coming to Italy) we are also having a Celtic Blessing so that the kids can be there when we are 'married' and he had everything organised with the minister! He has the local gardens, which happen to be up at his work sorted aswell!

Now I need to go and change all the appoint, nets I've made for that day,but I'm smiling even more through all the stress I'm feeling now!

That sounds like a lovely surprise, hope the stress disapates soon and you can just enjoy getting married (twice :) )

I'm just a few miles up the coast from Jax's wedding, sun is shining, sky is blue, hoping Jax is having a wonderful day

Me too, both on the stress and Jax having a lovely day! The sun has decided not to appear here today (nirth east Scotland) and although I'd like it to be warmer I'm happy that I'm not at risk of getting strap marks! Have even got strapless tops and things for the first few days of the hols so I can avoid it, and the high factor sun cream too!
Hoping the weather picks up there aswell as I've been watching the forecasts and its meant to rain all next week!

I am getting married on the 22nd June and although it's been hot and sunny here I have been avoiding being out in it as knowing my luck I will get sunburnt and end up with a red peeling nose. Spent the day doing table planning, kids packs, favours and last minute plans.
Got final dress fitting this week, rehearsal on Sunday and been suffering from dizziness and ear infection....Hoping I am not going to be taken ill on the day.

Some sun on the day would be welcome.
Making saving money part of my life.
