Ah not long til ours now either (28th!)

Getting very exciting seeing you all posting yours and the first lot going How is married life? ha ha

We are just sorting our final things now, had our final meal tasting last night and oh is seeing florist tonight again.

Think everything is all coming together, just looking forward to the day now!

Looked up extended forecast.... 28th June THUNDER STORMS LOL! Heres hoping it is too soon to tell and it changes!!

Hey misssaver, I've got a red peeling nose an I'm 2 days before you! Hope it sorts itself out quite quickly! I'll be steering well clear I the kids football tournament this Sunday if its nice to avoid a repeat!

Lots of sun factor on sunday and moisturise....

With the weather here today it's been raining all day.. a cold drizzle making the sky dark, so I bought a White umbrella in the hope that if I bought it...it would not rain....

Had a trapped nerve in my neck causing the dizziness, had my neck manipulated today and feel a little bruised but more with it and have my wedding dress final fitting...

9 days.... Let's have the rest of the month sunny....

1 x fabric bag saying Maid of Honour 2013 to give to my MOH on the nighttime with a thank you gift in.
1 x MOH mug with thanks on.
25 x flyers to go on the tables at night, explaining about the signing frame, photobooth etc and listing what the hot buffet is.
25 x rack cards to go ont he chairs during the ceremony giving the order of the day.

I'm still checking Vistaprint weekly for their freebies, want some more free mugs and personalised bags etc to give the thank you presents out in.

Still collecting things for the photobooth as and when I see funny items.

I wish the wedding was this year.....................

I am new here and was wondering if you would mind giving me an opnion on the following?
Would you have found a use for a discount website for weddings kind of like group on/ voucher codes? Any in depth comments welcome on my thread "How to get a cheap wedding or get more wedding for your money!"
Likewise if you know how to best ask this question on the forum please help.... Like I say new and not sure how to do things... I am not promoting a business simply trying to do so research

I wouldn't personally no.

Only due to the fact I wanted personal wedding touches, so centerpieces at a good price wouldn't interest me for example as I would want them to reflect us - not something someone else could buy and use too.

I'm sure many people who are looking for a good price for a wedding etc 'might' use such a website, but for me it would be of no help at all.

Whether its because I'm a control freak (someone's accusation today because I'm catering a range of dietary options) or (hopefully more accurately) we wanted a very personal wedding, we've never looked at a bridal magazine, a wedding service of any description or any actual wedding suppliers.
I'm sure there is a market for what you wish to offer and wish you well in your venture, unfortunately like Jax it wouldn't be something we'd use.

I'd take being a control freak as a compliment. It shows care aand emotion and pride in what you........ Yes I've been called it too so that's why I believe that!

Thanks for the reply... I totally appreciate what you mean - I have a dedicated DIY section on Pinterest for this very reason and was hoping to create a section on the website for ideas like this kind of a blog.. Idea being people can mix and match with weddings being so expensive nowadays. Bit of DIY for reception mixed with venue and new dress maybe... But thank you so much for your feedback all is valuable.

I'm determined my bride will get the wedding she wants and that our guests will be well looked after. I don't intend using this excuse for a party ever again, may as well get it right this time.

Jax brought her wedding in at £3000 as did MrsD, I been extravagant recently but the final figure will be well under 2K. Weddings don't have to be expensive, particularly if you avoid the "Wedding Industry" and its often unjustified premiums.
