Lots of people are now booking the hotel for our wedding and replying on our website.

My hen night has been organised for 4th May by my MOH and she's asked everyone, not sure who can/can't make it yet. I'm dying to know what we're doing.

Work seem to want to take me for meal as works hen night but I hate the attention.

    Where is everyone????????
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

This thread is starting to get a bit alarming, June still seems like ages away but I'm starting to realise it really isn't! It sounds like you're all doing wonderfully! :)

After having done nothing wedding-related for months, we had a busy January and booked a lot of things (kilts, photographer, invitations, videographer, rings, cake) but I'm thinking we won't really have time or money to do a lot of the little personal things we wanted to.

I'm just trying to settle on an RSVP deadline so that we can order RSVP cards from Vistaprint to pop in with our tea-towel invitations. I want to make it as early as possible, but I don't want to annoy people too much. It would be so much easier to know if we can afford little extras if we knew how many guests were going to be able to attend. And I could finally draft the table plan. I was looking forward to that logic puzzle for years before I got engaged. :D

    Apologies I've been rather quiet.
Wedding plans have been on hold, Herself has been rather poorly since September, at one point we were wondering whether we'd be able to get a registrar to the hospital in time. Thankfully things are slowly improving.
We'd managed to get a large amount planned prior and have just started picking up the reins again. We had a meeting with the venue on Monday gone and left reassured we have definitely made the right choice for us.
Current plan is to try to get all the invites printed next week, ideally we'd like to post them next weekend (our original schedule) but that might be a touch optimistic.

Hope your foot is healing ahead of schedule.

My foot is healing.... just not healling correctly, so I have an appointment on 21st Feb to get re-broke.... The wedding is getting alarmingly closer as the date of me being able to walk is getting alarmingly further....

Good news that things are improving for you and your OH, couldn't have been a nice time.

Not a lot else happening with me other than I'm having (yet again) another wobble at our Honeymoon in december. I thought I'd got it out of my system but now everyone is posting about their honeymoons in Summer and a friend at work is going on Honeymoon the day after the wedding I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself.....

Could you maybe invite an amount you are happy with financially wise, allowing you make personalised things. Then if anyone can't attend, you have 'extra' money for the crafty things?
I am sure that there is other things that I have forgotten but things are progressing well :)

It's exciting when you can start ticking things off isn't it :T

Good luck for the 21st, I hope it heals correctly and you get to wear the Choos.

Our honeymoon plans are on hold, and may not happen this year. (Not that that's any consolation for your wobble.) Fingers crossed the wobble passes soon and you look forward to your honeymoon while most are just looking back at memories of theirs.

Aw nuatha I hope it's not because OH may be too poorly? Sorry don't mean to pry:o

I only feel this way as a girl at work gets to go on honeymoon the day after the wedding. How ridiculous is that. I know im being an idiot :rotfl:

Your name has got me guessing, I do this with all usernames on here. I have you as Nathen and Una :rotfl:. (remember I've broke my foot and am bored). I read usernames and see something else entirely :rotfl:. Mrsd on here calls me Ajax as that's what she reads mine to be. I better go back and take my tablets.....
