Did you get your shoes?
I did!!
Just back from a fabulous long weekend in London with my MOH. We had an amazing time seeing a show and The Royal Variety Performance and of course :Tbuying my wedding shoes:T
Here's a pic of them, I absolutely adore them:j
After Christmas I will look at getting my dress taken up to be the correct height now I have my shoes and then that's another thing all sorted :TForty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Oooh! lovely shoes ,but I get vertigo looking at the heels LOL!
I am no good in heels since I broke my foot in 2005. Also my OH ain't much taller than me.
I have got a really pretty ( and cheap MSE style) tiara comb on ebay and it arrived today and I love it. I tried them all on in Debenhams and knew what I wanted. Hope the hairdresser can do it justice!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -

oooo Lovely, I'm after a comb too - well I'm not sure if it's called a comb... :rotfl: like a side comb with decoration on? I think I might get a bit fed up with the weight of a full tiara.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Good to see we are all getting on well, wont be long til it's only 6 months!
Good update here for us, OH has finally managed to decide definitely on bridesmaids and has got her bridesmaids dresses sorted. We are due to finish saving for the wedding next month and can start focussing on saving for our house deposit next.
Have also picked the kilt tartan I Want, just need to get it organised now.
Think we are getting there - main next things to think about is stag and hen nights and what sort of night we want...
Btw - have any you guys had any thought as to when you'll be giving your invites out? I cant quite remember what the usual rule of thumb is? 3 months before? 2 months?Saving for our next step up the property ladder0 -

We are telling people as we see them, as our wedding is only small (around 20 people) everyone knows. The reception is slightly different and will be still small though (around 70). Again we've just mentioned it to people (or they have asked).
We'll be emailing everyone the date after Christmas (so they have it written down), and probably around end of April early May will ask for people to start giving rsvp's on the website with everyone letting us know around 2 weeks before we marry :TForty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

Mine looks like a tiara, but its held in with a comb. I have a funny shape head and tiaras just wobble about!:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
We sent out save the date magnets when we got engaged in June. mainly because people will be travelling so it allowed them to book rooms etc. I think the invites will go out about Easter, 8 weeks before.:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0

It's exciting just to send anything out isn't it. I've given our website to a few who have to travel already and I was on a high :rotfl:Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Yeh I definitely think Easter sounds a good time actually
we already have our save the dates out a long time ago but just curious to when we should start thinking about invites!

I just stumbled across this forum (whilst browsing the Christmas forum!) and HAD to join in.
I'm also a June 2013 bride... yay!!
I have my dress, my venue, my invites and that's about it so far. Eeek!
Our wedding is in Zante, Greece so for some reason I think there's less to do (and I know I'm totally wrong!).
Any other destination brides? Is June 14th your date?
Eeeeeeeeee exciting!! x* Thrifty Bride saving for her 2013 wedding in the sunshine *0
