Was there a medical reason for that?

No she just didnt want solid foods, and there was no reason to force it since she got all she needed from me. I made sure food was available for her to try she just wasnt interested. Its called baby led weaning I believe.

@ whoever asked if i am "still" feeding a 3.5 year old, my answer is yes, a child will wean themselves. I dont offer but I dont refuse, a natural age of weaning has statistically averaged at 4 from international figures. Its only frowned upon in the western world, in other parts of the world this is a normal process. The WHO reccommend a minimum of 2 years breastfeeding and thereafter as mutually desired. 3 year olds still require milk, Im not sure why its considered normal to get that milk from an entirely different species of animal.

So do 6 year olds, 10 year olds, 20 year olds etc etc!!!

    They don't need to, though.

A three year old does need milk.

You'd think breastmilk had the ability to cure cancer .....

    This information may interest some

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12665051

There is indeed evidence that a protein complex in breast milk is a possible treatment for cancerous tumours. A good friend of mine did her mock dissertation on this last term and it is very interesting.
