Its great, apart from the gratuitous nudity and sex scenes! I am just glad I watched it before I let my 11 year old son. :eek:It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh my!!!! Perhaps it's not quite what the trailers promised. I have to admit that when I saw the trailers for 'Spartacus Blood & Sand' we thought it looked great - but turned it off after 20 minutes as it was pointless, boring and gratuitous nudity and sex. Thanks for your feedback on it guys - I don't feel quite so bad about missing it now!
I'm hoping (inbetween ebaying) to watch The Apprentice tonight and 'Catch Up' with Coalhouse Wars from last night. :T
Donnajt - I hope I make that much from my ebaying - I'd be doing back somersaults (which is no mean feat with my back!!!)

JackieO :T:T Well done Holly
donnajt.....My DH has to come with me shopping because I am disabled due to arthritis and he is horrified at the way prices are rising.
If your OH doesn't believe you just give him the house keeping reigns for a month including meal planning, making a list and shopping and that should sort him out
Silver, NPM, Anniestar and all who are having troubles help yourself to (((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))
Rosie  as an Asthmatic myself if DD was blue and is that wheezy you really should get her to the doctors ASAP. Blue means that there is not enough oxygen in her blood and it is very serious, and as my consultant keeps telling me Asthma is a killer and don't take any chances.
Beautiful sunny warm day today and as it is market day I went to town and picked up some lovely english strawberries for £1 a punnet and a big bag of satsumas for £1 so I toddled to Aldi to get some clotted cream so that is dessert tonight nom nom can't wait. Dinner is low carb quiche, new potatoes and salad
Then met DD and her BF in town and we went for a mooch in the shops didn't buy anything because DH doesn't get paid until Friday; but I have had so many NSD's this month and have been living off the stores that we have money left even after a tough month :j
Well I am off to make a coffee and hull the strawberries before coalhouse at war starts- everything else is prepared - granary bread made, salad made, potatoes ready to go on the boil and quiche is cooling.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Another good day at work. Work kids cleaned and painted the outside of our log cabin today. It was a lovely sunny day so we all enjoyed.
I may be going to the cinema tonight with toyboy and neighbours to see Pirates 4. It depends on whether they want to see it in 3D or not, cos I can't do 3D with my vertigo
, will find out in a bit.
OS wise - need to make packed lunch for tomorrow. If I'm not going to cinema then I'll have leftover chilli for tea.
Have a good evening all

Had to empty my whole 121 litre water butt as we get so much crud off the roof due to the massive oak trees it makes the water goes rank _pale_ So it's now entirely empty and washed out. Until the next time <rollseyes>
Planted up a couple of brassicas to replace a couple that died and swept the patio. Tomorrow is being set aside as a gardening day as the weeds are shocking

save-a-holic when things get better we will start putting aside for when times are slow/waiting for payments, but it's a struggle now as bills need to be paid! I don't think he's bothered about providing for me or not! He seems to think his money is all his own disposable income!! GRRRRR. Thats a whole other storey though!
I assume he's still at work, i've just got in which means 1 hr over time for me! putting any over time into paying off my debts, so thats a little bit more off that!
I think i am going to split the bacon and do carbonara with fresh spaghetti for him and i've got some raviolli that i can have, then maybe do sausage pasta salad for his lunch tomorrow, or maybe go see the chickens and then he can have egg mayo sarnies.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

You know, I was lying awake this morning thinking to myself.......is the OS forum an addiction? I only ask as I have to get my 'fix' every day, and panic a bit if I don't have internet connection. Or is it a bit like a 'best friend' that we chat to every day on the phone, and find it a constant comforting presence?

Most definitely the comforting presence. I don't post that much but I would be lost without reading!
Apart from the people I work with I don't really know anyone else here, even after 8 years and OH is away all week so I look forward to coming home and catching up on everyone's news.
Don't feel sorry for me though, I quite like my own company during the week

Evening all
Lovely day here today but still need rain. HM chicken soup and garlic dough balls was lush. DS really approved. He is eating for England and growing overnight at the mo.
Went to Dunelm Mill when I got up and was very restrained. Bought a cafe rod to hang my curtains in my landing which cost me £2.99 and a new frying pan for £4.99 so I can make pancakes without them sticking. Need to get on and make my curtains, am revamping, cutting down and lining some floor length ones that were in my dining room before the cat decided to attack them! Just love the colour which is pea green.
Have a lovely evening all
