Hi everyone,
Love reading this thread but never posted before,
Bit cloudy over here, but hoping rain will hold off so washing can dry!
Did lots of jobs I'd put off for ages yesterday, so not too much to do today!
Tea will be whatever is in my mom's fridge as me and my girlies are over at theirs tonight, mom is a teacher and gives DD1 free drama lessons on a wednesday, very mse!
Does anyone know how to get rid of/deter woodlice, preferably a natural way ?
Hope everyone has a lovely day!:)0 -

Hi all
Busy day at work today *phew*.
Anniestar - hugs to you when I know you need it most. I'm another medicated person though I'm slowly trying to wean myself off them now as I don't think I need them after a solid 10 years. Everyone is keeping a close eye on me to make sure that I don't slip up - first sign of a relapse and I'm back up to full dosage (I do NOT want to go back to where I was 10 years ago). Take comfort from the fact that you are not alone and we are all here with and for you. <hug>
LittleBrownFrog - I absolutely ADORE chickens - wish we had the room to keep them. They are GORGEOUS!!!! :T
Bramble1 - I sympathise with you and your hubby. My DH is self-employed and he used to constantly worry about this, or work drying up, etc. In the end he decided to set up a separate fund and put money into it every month until he'd saved enough to live on (literally) for 4 months - so that if the situation ever arose then we would not sink. It worked for him and (thankfully) we've not had to delve into the money yet -but it's reassuring to know we have that safety net. Maybe the reason that he's so grumpy is that he feels guilty/ashamed that (in his caveman way) he is not providing for you?
Congratulations to Hilstep2000's very well-behaved DGD and to JackieO's Holly on the driving test.
Donnajt -I can sympathise on the differences of opinion with your husband on groceries. I do the grocery shopping and because DH doesn't see the inside of the shop, etc he is shocked when I tell him how much stuff is and even show him the receipts. We don't argue about it - but if we did I'd be getting him to come along with me to see for himself exactly how much this stuff costs, etc. Is this a possiblity for you?
MrsButler - I REALLY wanted to see Game of Thrones but missed it and could not find it anywhere on CatchUp TV so I'll just have to wait to see if it's repeated. Was it as good as it looked?
BitseyBean - How's Daisy cat? I've been thinking about her constantly. Last winter my brother and his wife had to take their dog to the vet as it couldn't stand up properly (kept falling over). After 4-5 days the vet wanted to euthanase (sp?) him (the dog - not my brother) but my SIL said no and that she wanted to give him another 24 hours. When they went back 24 hours later he had GREATLY improved and could stand up (wobbly). Now he is walking around and living as normal. I think that where there is life there is hope). Everything is crossed for Daisy!
Right - now on to my day!
DH bought a chinese takeaway for tea last night so we will be having the sausage in onion gravy, vet & pots for tea tonight. I'm aiming on putting more stuff on eBay tonight - fingers crossed. The bids on my current stuff are at £80 at the moment and there's still 6 days to go - so I'm really chuffed!!! Every little helps...
I put a Matched Bet on this morning too - fingers crossed.
Car is in for it's MOT today so I'm typing this with EVERYTHING crossed that it's not going to cost too much.
Think that's it for now. Have a good day everyone!

You know, I was lying awake this morning thinking to myself.......is the OS forum an addiction? I only ask as I have to get my 'fix' every day, and panic a bit if I don't have internet connection. Or is it a bit like a 'best friend' that we chat to every day on the phone, and find it a constant comforting presence?
Rosie are you me? :rotfl::rotfl: I don't see many other grown ups, some of the mums at school are right funny b*ggers and not all of them are friendly and when I am having to keep an eye on my kids as well as the minded ones standing around chatting doesn't tend to happen much. So you guys on here are my link to the adult worldsave-a-holic wrote: »Hi all

Mum's rung the vets. she trying to shuffle round the cage more, nore sure if sight has returned but she's still not standing. Mum and dad will go visit her again tonight. They go on holiday to Devon in 3 weeks time and if she's home by then they're taking her with them! I did offer to have her at home with me but mum is worried the stress of my rather effusive kids might be a step too far
Have sat down to read books with DD and now I CBA to moveSomeone give me a kick up the bum
Bramble - I'd have marinated chicken with rice and some veggies but then again I just want something quick and easy to prepare
Candy - Oooh I think Boo has her nanny wrapped round her little finger:rotfl:
JackieO - Well done to HollyI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hi Marie - he does come shopping occassionally and our shopping bill is usually £30 dearer lol! When i say we argue, thats prob a bit harsh, his complaint is that we have cupboards and cupboards bursting at the seams of food, a freezer that you couldn;'t squeeze a pea into and an overstocked fridge ... i should really post a list of it all on OS and see what wonderful ideas you all come up with!
well done on the ebaying, we ebayed last week and made £379, well chuffed! paying for us to have a week at the caravan next week0 -

Save-a-holic - I am enjoying it, its quite similar to Lord of the Rings, defo worth a watch. Am sure that Sky Atlantic will start repeating it soon. xx0
