NPM - pleased to read you've posted your letter. Think your boss was out of order hounding you yesterday when on a valid sicknote.....maybe when (if?) anyone gets in touch about your leaving questionnaire you could mention that as it would go direct to HR? Or do they not have those in the NHS?

Am another who has been helped by meds when very low - am luckily much improved now and have been off them for quite a few years but still get dark days around my parents' birthdays & anniversaries. DH knows the dates and always buys me chocolate and hugs me then works away for a few days while I work things through on my own :o

Well the bathroom replacement is definitely on - starts on 6th June.....potentially 3 weeks without bath  washing & teeth-cleaning in kitchen sink (incentive to keep on top of the washing up though! :D) and a toilet every night (but not during the day while they are working!) It's not terribly MSE, as we're "having men in" and the bath / washstand & bowl/ wall-hung loo / wet-room area shower are not B&Q basic :o but we're only planning on doing it once, we will be staying here (especially when we've spent that scary amount of money on the house!) and we DID use Mr T's deals for the tiles from Topps - £270 vouchers saved since the wedding last year = £810 worth of tiles :D So, anyone who lives in or near / visits that famous Lancashire coastal resort with a tower in June - yes it's Floss who's caused the smell!!! :rotfl:

Evening all! have read the thread but forgotton most of what i wanted to say npm i hope sending in your notice has lifted a weight off your shoulders. Daisy cat more positive thoughts going your way. Have told pup to do the same.

Well, today was not a great day. I've been at my new job since january and on the whole i love it, it's a slower pace than my old job, no pressure and it good fun. But some days i do feel like i can't do anything right, and everything seems to be my fault. Still need to just work hard and try my best, nowt much else i can do!

OH is in a grump as his pay isn't in yet and we've got 40p til it arrives. He's taking that out on me! so i have a big glass o disarono next to me :o

The day is nearly over ,and i'm thinking early night so i can just sleep and not worry about anything!

We are currently in the process of having a wetroom installed and I hate it!!! Its a nightmare with the noise and dust and the dogs who keep chasing the workmen off the premises as they see them as a threat:eek::eek::eek: Im also having to share a bathroom with four teenagers and its very difficult. We have two weeks of this and its really getting to me. Never mind I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

this is soooooo OK with me :D I have another MSE who even offered to come round and do some healing although I don't think the Vets would really like that ;) However if we're lucky enough for her to make it home then I shall definately be having her round for a healing session.

All your vibes etc are most welcome and considering like attracts like in the Universe the more positive the better ;)

Nightmare!! Luckily although DS2 will be in the middle of his master's dissertation he has promised to move out for the duration, DH will be out of the country first week & away from home the other two weeks (he did the same with the kitchen ) so just me to get sorted....luckily I pass a council leisure centre on my way to work so am making arrangements to use their showers ;) My main issue is that we only have 1 bathroom....

    Evening all,

PC having some kind of conniption to-day, couldn't type anything at first, then wouldn't do anything...tried booking return to Alghero on DD3's laptop but it wouldn't do it, all seems well now, have booked the flights but at €50 more than yesterday!!

Weather better here to-day, not so windy, but tree which lost a branch last Autumn has had another 'breakage' and is leaning on 4 younger trees, so will have to do something about it soon....another €1000 euro gone, would need to be printing money at present.

Ash is giving us some concern as DD3 flies to Heathrow on Thursday morning, at this stage I think that she would walk there so as not to miss her flight, but there is also a danger that the flight to Kuala Lumpur will be affected, keeping my fingers crossed for her, the constant repacking of her luggage to keep it at 20kg is driving her nuts!

We had roast chicken with peas, potatoes and gravy for dinner, very lazy I know but enjoyed it immensely, had some Thorntons chocs for pudding....which I need like a hole in the head!

Hugs to all who are feeling down, keep talking Anniestar, it helps. I have been on meds for 5 years now, initially I just wanted to get to a stage when I could leave them behind but now realise that I may have to stay with them for the rest of my life and have decided if that must be it must...I cope much better now and that's wonderful....

JackieO....haven taken your advice and called somebody I haven't spoken to in ages....was lovely so thanks for that.

    Stay well all

Oh I haven't ;) I shall get my friend round to see daisy if she is well enough to leave the vets.

NPM just wanted to say well done on sending in your notice. I hope it's the start of good things to come.

Bramble is it a particular person in work that makes you feel like this? Anyone you can talk to there about this? Hugs xxx

Bitsy ...good news about daisy .....I am sending positive vibes for her x

    Anniestar much ((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))) x

DS got on so well at his interview at college that he has been offered an unconditional placement for September :j:j
His head of year gave him a glowing reference. I am a bit upset that he will not be carrying on to do his A2's especially as he loves chemistry but he has said that he can always do it at another time, it is his decision he is a young man now ( but he is still my baby boy IYKWIM)

Have fleeced up my fruit and veg because they say we could get a frost tonight  A frost this time of year is never good.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
