It's over 400 miles. It's doable in a day but you would be best breaking the journey. We stopped in Las Vegas.

Ok so we're looking to book for 2013. I really need some help though please.
We will fly into Vegas, stay 1 night and then go to Grand Canyon for 2 nights. I think I also want to do Monument Valley. We will end up at Death Valley. Question is, what should we do in between these places?

Look at my Day 8-Day 14 on a trip a did a while back.

Canyonlands is part of the Grand Circle and has some awesome scenery

I'm off again this June :T

    Doing a 21 days itin
    LAX-LAS-Kanab-Moab-Monument Valley-Williams-Yosemite-SFO.

    How long have you got?

mmmmm this puts a diff spin on it all then, driving down to south rim staying there for a night driving back to vegas there for a night then onto death valley there for a night before yosemite ... that might be too much driving tbh ...mmmm will need to really think this through ... i do fancy grand canyon ( tbh much more than vegas ...although i am sure i will enjoy that as well) but i really dont want to put alot of pressure on my husband for driving as he is still recovering from his breakdown

Then Canyonlands is possibly a good trip. You could do the North Rim of GC for a change.

Take a look at Dead Horse State Point

    Jaw dropping
