I forgot to add - the first thing I'm dying to do is throw away all the copies of bills and late payment notices and other guilty post I've accumulated. Bad idea? Well, I'll hold onto it until my OR interview and ask them but I am sure going to have a nice little bonfire of that stuff as soon as I possibly can!

Hello everyone.

I've got my date for bankruptcy, it's the 14th June... I'm really worried about it. I'm even more worried about my OR interview as I've been putting this off for such a long time I don't have much of the paperwork about my creditors. Will this look bad on me when I have my interview?

Thanks dojoman for the encouragement! In a way I can't wait til tomorrow, at least it's all over then (until the OR interview). I'll be back on here tomorrow and will let you know how it went. Fingers crossed from 9.30 tomorrow pls!

Hi all i have been learking a while!! Thankyou for all the help i have had from reading posts!! Myself and partner are booked in for 27th June!! Just filled in most of the ppw need a bit of help on a few bits so i may be asking for help soon!

Welcome to the forum and feeling scared is very understandable! But please take some reassurance from the fact most of us on here have been through the BR process and are still here to tell the tale! We know how you feel and you are in the right place for advice and support .

Well that's it, I've done it! Went to court this morning at 9.30, handed my paperwork over to a very lovely gent in the court office, who told me I'd see the Judge in a little while. Sat down in the waiting room and the Usher kept me entertained and told me not to worry. Went in to see the Judge at 10, who was really nice! All he wanted to know that I took advised before I took this step. When I told him that I spoke to CCCS and CAB he was happy and signed the order. Went back to the office and was put onto the phone to speak to the OR who explained to me what will happen next with great patience. Picked my BRO up and off I went! Looking back at it now, I don't know why I only had 2 hrs sleep last night. I really didn't think it would be this easy and actually quite pleasant (if that's the right word for it). Just waiting now for the proper OR interview.

A big thank you to everyone who supported me on here through comments and their own posts! This forum has been a massive help and sure will be for the next few years, whilst I'm getting my life back on track!

And good luck to everybody who's still got the big day ahead of them. I'm sure yours will run as smoothly as mine!
